There are a lot of things that really piss me off, but one of the biggest ones is people lying or deceiving me. And it's happened again. Got my ICU report back from one of the consultants, who said she was very impressed by my report and couldn't fault it except for the word limit. I was happy until I opened the attachment and saw that she gave me a measly 71%, despite giving the other guy who did ICU with me 74% and saying that his references were crap (and his report had heaps of spelling mistakes). I just find it really insulting, but at the same time, I wonder if it's something wrong with my writing. Why is it that when I think I did well, I end up doing a lot worse than I expect? This is like an encore of research last year, where we were given no negative feedback until our crappy grades got shoved in our faces. It seriously pisses me off; if you think I didn't do well, tell it to my face. At least I learn something from it instead of just sitting around licking my wounds and being utterly bewildered by my shitty grade. And doubting myself, because I am honestly looking for serious flaws in my work now. I don't think going over the word limit warrants 29% of my grade. So, so angry. 6:22 PM
