Next Tuesday, I wouldn't be sitting so comfortably here at such an ungodly hour, but would be sailing off in a boat to dreamland. Nothing's been going on in the hols anyway... Every day, I wake up, transport all 50kg of myself to the computer, sit there till the comp gets hijacked by my brother/mother, watch tele, play the piano and that's about it. Sometimes, when I take a step back from reality, I realise how pointless my life is and wish that I had summoned up enough courage to carry out the plan I had in mind when I was back there. (she waited for someone to find the piece of herself bottled up in a glass bottle, floating in the ocean) As you can see, I will be chucking random stuff in here. Just ignore them. Sadly, no one's online... Everyone's off to study for their biology and chinese test. For me? I've just gulped down an entire cup of coffee. (sitting there, awaiting death to consume her) Anyway, no one visits this anymore. Shall go start on cgers. 10:54 PM Sunday, April 23, 2006 It's amazing that I'm still as sane as I was (this says a lot) since last week, given that I haven't blogged in that time span at all. Well, I was tempted to, but just didn't have the time... There's only a week more before I descend back into hell. Of course, I'm talking about the holidays. Haven't been doing much except going on the computer though. A piece of good news would be that all my stuff came over yesterday! Bad news? I can't get it out. The shipping company happily heeded my mum's instructions and piled everything in our backyard. Thus, most of my stuff is underneath a huge pile of stuff. Great. Shall go off now. Sorry about cgers again, but as I've mentioned, I haven't had time to do much. 3:42 PM Sunday, April 16, 2006 In any case some of you were put off from visiting cgers because of the lack of updates, I can safely tell you that Chapter 12 is up there now. Cgers Decided to put the link in any case some of you forgot what it was after such a long time. Anyway, happy Easter! 3:58 PM Saturday, April 15, 2006 After many months since undertaking the gruelling task of backing up all my blog posts (for me, means copying and pasting into text and keeping it in a folder), I can truimphantly say that it's ended today! Not exactly... I'll still have to back up this post. Anyway, this may prompt you curious souls out that to question: Has my brain gone wonky? No, it hasn't. It's just that the recent crash of Diary-x's database (Yanne experienced this first hand) frightened me into doing so. As you all know, my blog posts are highly precious and make a really entertaining read when anyone goes through them (as some people have feedbacked). Thus, yeah... Going to church. 5:16 PM Friday, April 14, 2006 Passion of the Christ just finished airing on television. Yes, general television. I really think they shouldn't have showed it on television... Firstly, it was rather gruesome and unfit for the tender eyes of the young children and secondly, it was rather exaggerated at points. I think the second point needs some elaboration. The floggings, which were highly bloody and violent (believe me, if this comes from me, it must be pretty incredible), were much unecessary in this case. I personally think the main point that's supposed to get across is how Jesus died because of His love for us, but in this case, was spoilt by all the floggings and what-nots. Yes, I admit, Jesus suffered terribly, but it's not necessary to induce shocked gasps and exclamations from the audience to distract them from the main 'theme'. As you all will see at the bottom of the post, it's already close to midnight. I guess that's because the tele broadcasters had to put it late so that young innocent kids would be safe in dreamland, and will thus not be scarred for life. Obviously, as you guys also know, my attention span isn't very much especially when I'm reasonably tired and thus, I did not really pay attention to the movie, resulting in my coming online about an hour ago. Main reason why I didn't exactly bother was because I have the VCD at home ($7.95 at HMV. I bought it personally, despite its rating). Anyway, because of the terrific line up of television shows (6pm till now), I have failed to go for a bath. As such, I'd better go before I end up with pneumonia or bronchitis tomorrow morning. 11:39 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2006 For no apparent reason, I've developed an interest for Paganini's music... I think it's pretty interesting, after reading his biography. He had this 'disability' that made his bones really flexible or something, and that helped him with difficult violin technical stuff. Cool right? It was the last day of term 1 today! The 2 week hols start tomorrow... As we all know, the last day of school is often really boring. We had a bloody Easter Paraliturgy, of which everyone fell asleep in except the teachers, who were busy waking everyone and shutting them up. I personally didn't give a damn since it was my Science teacher who was 'in-charge' of our row, and she doesn't care:). Music was a downright waste of time. We were just slothing away, doing nothing at all in the whole lesson. Some people just brought a few cds to subject our eardrums to more torture. It's no wonder teenagers are getting deaf so quickly. English was quite interesting... Apparently my 'self-esteem' aka lack of enthusiasm to answer any questions in class is being seen as stupidity. I know the answers, but just can't be bothered to answer them since no one cares. Religious education: I must admit I got fairly put off by that bloody old foggie. Firstly, I'd missed all of the first half of the movie on Friday due to my music lesson. As such, I'd thought it to be a waste of time trying to watch a movie from the middle, where I'd be just as well off being a bird in a pig sty (warped analogy, I know). Result was that I whipped out the English holiday homework we had (reading and analysing of 3 short stories), and started reading the stories since I had no intention of irritating others who were watching the movie intently (my ass). To my horror, old foggie came up to me and went 'are you going to watch this or do that?' I then tried explaining that I wasn't in on Friday and thus didn't know what was going on, but he just cut me off and said he (I QUOTE) 'didn't give a damn'. Means that I still had to mindlessly watch it or get a detention. Wow. So in the future, if I get angry, I just have to say 'I don't give a damn' since that's what Jesus would have advocated through the great Religious Education teachers of CCC. Alleuia. I would finally not be condemned for swearing in God's name. (Right. I fear for my soul too much to swear in His name though) That rather spoiled my mood for the rest of the day. Anyway, my Mom and I got so bored that we started taking photos of the stuff we bought for Easter (meaning consuming/giving). Here're the pictures... (No point in my blogging about my day since I'll just be raging and raving) ![]() ![]() All that we bought/got this Easter so far... A tray of 20 small eggs (8 eaten, 12 to go), 4 large eggs (one for each person [Dad's in Singapore] in the family and Ollie), 6 bunnies (5 to be adopted, one adopted by me from Ollie), Tolberone bar (for the family). It all comes to a grand total of about $30-$40. Talk about giving to the retail shop owners indeed. ![]() Animated conversation between bunnies: Guy: Oh, how did you give birth to such hollow-headed FREAKS?! One's purple and the other's red and black! Did the latter get bruised in childbirth or something? And they've all got brands! (Cadbury) Girl: Nope. And don't complain too fast: There're still a few to come. ![]() Girl: See? I told you... ![]() This was mostly taken for the Tolberone bar, which probably explains the poor overall photography... ![]() Mom decided to shuffle them around after the initial photos showed that some of the eggs didn't turn up. ![]() These are mine out of the whole collection! (excludes Tolberone bar) ![]() Eggs. ![]() Bunnies of the same fate (to be eaten) coagulate together. ![]() Poor Tolberone bar's alone in the world... That's all. 10:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2006 My brother's not home tonight! This means that no one can contest my rights to the computer, bathroom, couch or piano. *punches fist into air* Anyway, today's been quite a good day spare some events... *coughs* First period was a nightmare: Psychology. My ears felt truly sore after all the squealing from that shorty... Maths: We had a bloody evacuation drill. Everyone, including the teachers, started running onto the field like headless chickens as soon as the warning bell had sounded. My friends and I stayed put till the evacuation bell sounded though. My ears were once again submitted to a bout of torture from the bloody bell. So, we did nothing except sunbaked ourselves for a full 20 minutes. Maybe the teachers just wanted us to get sunstroke. Anyway, it just had to be 2nd period, not 1st or 3rd. 3rd was Biology, and once again, -surprise surprise-, I was picked on by shorty. Music was pretty good, since I'd topped the class! Although the first runner-up only got half a mark less than I did... I still topped it though! Economics was just boring. We did nothing except draw irritating graphs, but it gave me enough time to sleep. English: Anyone with a weak heart should serious stay away from my batty old teacher who is cyclically challenged: she pmses every day. Apparently 2 guys were whacking each other during lunch, and one got hit in -you know where- really hard, and was keeled over on the floor. BOW (batty old witch) walked over, and went 'hey. can you please pick that ice cream on the floor up please?' without even showing any concern for the poor kid. Wow. Anyway, mom and I went shopping after school, and we blew $25 on chocolate for Easter! I suppose we're rather bent on giving the retail shop owners a great Easter since Easter's the season of sharing and God-knows-what. Ollie gets a big egg for being a great friend! Thought of sending some back, but I doubt they'd make the trip... The postman will be cursing and swearing all the way to your letterbox, so well... I still wish to live if you guys haven't noticed it. That's all... Shall fully utilise my superior rights to the house (mom's asleep) before my brother returns (NOOOOO...). 11:14 PM Monday, April 10, 2006 I've also just realised how rude I've been to my wonderful taggers who have been actively working to keep my tagboard up and running. Here's the replies they dearly deserve: Yanne: Thanks! It's nothing but mounds of soil at obscure places though.. Pui: Hey! I haven't been seeing you online either... Been busy? How've you been with your new class? Hope you're better... Thanks too! Zeena: I hope you could see the nice, overcast sky in the photos, and I suppose you haven't heard the people going 'huh' at you either... And I'm amazed that you can't see the sky, for I can even see the singapore sky from here (Google Earth). Haha! Kidding... Anyway, it's in CanningVale, somewhere towards the south. And yes, the property market's going up even faster than a space rocket. Ollie: Your home's going to be big too... It's all in the mind anyway:). Yanne: No problem. I enjoy speaking to you about random stuff too, like *coughERASERScough*. Ollie: Yeah. There was the Mitsubishi symbol there, so... *snickers* Sars: Yes, yes, oh holy one. You sure must pick on the poor brain cells that are already lying in their graves right? Ollie: Is it? I thought it sounded like the pokemon 'skyther' or something (that green, bug-like thing). Haha! Jiaying: *coughMELVINTANcough* He's not as talented though. Haha! Yanne: Cheer up too! And may all the Maths Haters unite! Cheerios! You look on the positive side for your NYAA sessions with you-know-who too... *sniggers* Sorry if I haven't replied any other tags... The rest were too long ago, and rather out of 'context' already. My sincerest apologies to all who bothered to tag and didn't get replies! (Actually, it's just about the same people tagging each time:)). It's 20 past 10 already. Going to practise a little of piano (sadly, won't be able to disrupt my neighbours' sleep due to silent headsets) before sleeping. Night! 10:11 PM
In any case any of you are interested in seeing 203'06's blog (which, I am tempted to add to make you guys remotely guilty, is really much more alive than our blog: this doesn't say much actually... No one ever posts there anymore), here's the link. 203'06 blog I hope no 06trixer happily skips over my blog and sees this unauthorized link, for I still like the feeling of my pants on my warm butt. This means that I hope no one sues my pants off for my poor butt will freeze off. How inane was that? I'm actually pretty impressed by our 'descendents' efforts of pulling the class together... They actually post a list of homework there! How I wish that happened with our class, for I never remembered what homework there was... *ignores glares* But anyway, you guys helped by letting me Poor people are doing TKAM... *coughcough* And they've got home econs even in the first semester! *heaves a huge sigh of relief* Mrs Lee/Ms Wong had better bow down and thank their respective Gods that I was not in their classes for there would be only a pile of ashes left in memory of the kitchens. Anyway, THANK GOD THAT ALL OF THE TESTS ARE OVER! I think I flunked my music though... I bloody hell wrote that variation was SYNCOPATION! *faints* It happens all the time when I run out of time: Just write anything that comes to mind. And also, I wrote that Bach and Vivaldi were born in the same year when it was Bach and Handel! Amazingly, I got the year right: 1685. Why couldn't Vivaldi be born a decade later? And I wrote that Handel was born in England, when he was born in Germany (same as Bach). All this started coming back at the end of the test... Great. The baroque composer born in England was supposed to be Henry Purcell anyway. So after the test, I got my manuscript book which had these birthdates of famous composers and shook my fist at Vivaldi, repeating 'die' over and over again till my friend reminded me that he was dead already. Yeah right. Something cool's that Ollie gave me a Lindt chocolate bunny! I'll take some pictures tomorrow and post them up. Not now... I'm exhausted after finishing my psychology and economics homework. The economics homework didn't make any sense at all. Maths test was a piece of kueh lapis. The uncanny thing about it is that every time I've finished my paper, my teacher would read out how much time we've left. It's almost like he's watching me doing my paper... And if you guys are that interested, this is 103'06's blog. 103'06 blog The class cheer sure does have a few omens in it... 103's the best ->Didn't Xinrong and I use this in the Rudolph poem? we pass every test obviously can hold on to the end Cookies, muffins, garfield and odie not forgetting bee hoon bears and baboons ->*coughs rabidly* and goon bassoons all united we stand ->United through diversity 103 will live forever we'll celebrate every year class reunion dinner where we have fun under the sun Maybe I'm just reading too much into things again, as Xinrong would gladly remind me of... But it's hell uncanny, especially if they're our 'descendents'. Damn. Now I'm going to have 103'06 people attempting to murder me too. And no, it's unfair! They've got Ms Koh for history when we had *coughWONGTZcough* in sec 1! They've got Alex T. though. Fair enough. And amazingly, they seem to be on really good terms with 203'06... There are even links to 203'06 people's blogs! *gasps* I can't even remember who my 'angel' is, much less anyone else from 203'04. Maybe it's just my me and my lousy memory. 9:34 PM Sunday, April 09, 2006 For the whole day (which hasn't been long since I'd awoken at 2PM), I've been doing nothing much except lazing around, eating, showering, revising a little of Maths, watching television and going online (backing up blog posts too). I hope blogger never ever crashes because I'm having a hell of a time backing up all my posts. Anyway, I'm not going to bother revising for the Maths test tomorrow because a) It's too ungodly an hour to be studying b) Shampoo osmosised into my head in the shower just now c) Holy water and the shampoo in my head reacted chemically and damaged my brain through thermal decomposition. I know that doesn't make any sense. For the past hour, I've already tried to cram as many facts on the baroque period as possible into my puny brain, and I'm exhausted. What about Monteverdi (1567-1643) and his musica L'Orfeo (Oreos are more welcome to my brain and stomach at the moment) and Bach and his 48 preludes and fugues in his 2 books of the 'Well-tempered clavier'. As you can see, my brain space of 1KB has been taken up by shampoo, holy water (from church) and random facts on the baroque period, thus Maths can just go and get its kidneys lacerated by Ng, do the NZQ and die by being turned to stone by the Tieh, and I will watch all this without batting an eye. Really tired now, since it's already close to midnight and there's school tomorrow. 3 days of school left till the holidays! *beams* 11:38 PM Tuesday, April 04, 2006 Today was a relatively good day. It started off rather badly though... I stepped into school, and remembering it was Tuesday (worst day of the week), I remembered that a teacher had slapped the first detention ever on me. Thus, it wasn't that great a note to start off a new, cheerful *coughcough* school day. Went into psychology, and the teacher went 'I know who's suppose to turn up for the detention today' just when I was praying that she would forget all about it. Why does her memory decide to defy the laws of her nature and stature of all times?! Maths was great. *coughs rabidly* Anyway, I got a friend to accompany me to detention WILLINGLY. I did not a) Point a gun at his head and go 'get your arse to detention with me or die' b) Get the teacher to give him one or c) Bribe him. Stood outside the Science lab waiting for the teacher while looking into the class and seeing three other classmates working hard at scrubbing the desks and faucets (remember, it's a Science Lab). So the teacher came, and went 'What're you doing here?' (oh sweet, sweet irony) and obviously I went 'I thought there was a detention?' She then went 'Did you do your work?' Now, this is both a morally and literally confusing question. Firstly, I did my work this week and did last week's work to make up for the work I didn't do. She did not specify which work she meant, so... I said yes, I did do my work, which was perfectly true! She then said I could go off because it was only for the people who didn't do their work. To cover up for my 'sin', I then carried on with the lie by saying that I'd thought it was for the whole class. I'm feeling like Bart Simpson now, especially when he gives false apologies to his mother (no, this is not implying anything. Just a mere analogy on my part). Who cares? I got off detention! My friend and I were snickering away... Biology test was simple. Just the multiple choice today, so... Music: Composition test was crap in my view, but the teacher thought my tune sounded nice. What bullsh*t. I apparently had this computer science thing during lunch... And it was held in a non-existent classroom (room 16, to be specific). It is nowhere to be found on the school map, and none of the teachers know of its existence too. So we went around like headless chickens till we saw the teacher. Wow. To be honest, I felt that the computer skills thing was as legible as it would have been had it been in Greek or the Ancient Egyptian language. Draw your own conclusions. But it was great because I got to miss almost all of Economics. *beams* And YES! I can finally cancel out the English presentation that has been high on my due list for the last week! Let's see what I've got left... Maths test Part 2 Psychology Homework Music Aural/Literature Test That's just nothing but something for me to strike out for fun. Haha! My idea of fun sure is warped... 10:13 PM Saturday, April 01, 2006 Click here! Like those Calvin and Hobbes comics? I laughed myself crazy at my friend's house today. Anyway, we went to see the land that we're building our new house on today! ![]() ![]() The ground beneath our feet- in the future. ![]() Neighbour on the left. Neighbour opposite. Neighbour opposite of neighbour on the left. Waiting for a car to kill me on a deserted road. Neighbour on the right. ![]() ![]() Multiple Points of View -not Seurat's masterpiece- but of the park in the neighbourhood. That's about it... Going to start on Chapter 12 now. 8:19 PM
