Covalent networks are a girl's best friend.

Who the hell wants to know that?

In case you don't feel any chemistry to listen to your Chemistry teacher, that just means diamond, which has a covalent network structure (or some crap). Oh, and my Dad's 2nd hand-car adds to the depletion of the ozone layer as the nitrogen dioxide from the car oxidises in the air and kiils the poor little things in the cute little atmosphere.

My big, fat ass.

I'll die if I have to memorise this whole, humungous lot of crap. My brain will undergo inefficient burning and release carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas, and would contribute to the melting of the polar ice caps, and pitiful, tiny innocent polar bears and penguins would become extinct (and the list of animals goes on). The Day After Tomorrow wouldn't be 2 days later, but today. My poor brain cells would adopt yellow halos above their souls, sprout white wings, and serenade themselves with a tiny golden harp as they slowly ascend into the atmosphere.

As I type this post, I slowly contract a respiratory disease from the harsh, sharp intakes of breath I take in as I try to remember every single piece of information my Chemistry teacher forced into my skull. As you can see, I do not need sulfurous acid (incidentally, a weak acid) to oxidise to form sulfuric acid and then melt limestone statues and buildings, burn vegetation (me: I've been vegetating for over a year) and cause me more respiratory diseases.

This sounds so inane. From 'I am going to die from my Chemistry test on Tuesday', I've crammed all sorts of Chemical statements in to support my point. Anyway, my point is just to ask you to pray for my soul when it ascends past the ozone layer. Shall go cram more facts into my tired brain.

To answer Jiaying's question:

I went to see the Head of English Department, and she says that she'll try to do what she can for me. If I don't change classes by Monday the 8th of August, I shall sit in silent protest on the field, trying to levitate during my English lesson.

And somehow, I think my current teacher caught wind of it, and is thus picking on me. She asked me about 7 questions in one lesson when there were about 25 other worthy candidates she could have picked. And she made all sorts of remarks like 'Oh, I'm sure ____ (name protected for safety of person) knows the answer to this'. Shut the f*ck up.

On a brighter note, I'm going to see the opera Nabucco (by Giuseppi Verdi: Romantic period) on the 24th of August. My mum wasn't too keen on letting me go (it costs $30 after discounts and stuff), proclaiming that an idiot like me wouldn't appreciate it anyway (the Chinese idiot idiom 'dui niu tan qin' creeps into mind...), and that it was too expensive. I then said that I'd use my own money, and thus she had to shut her trap.

As we'd been in quite a bad mood because of above said matter, I didn't dare ask her to sign my form, and was ready to say I didn't go when Ollie decided to go. So I came home and called the director of music (who incidentally is my MEP-equivalent teacher) and asked if he could get me a ticket, and that I'd bring my form on Monday. He said it's fine as he'd ordered a few extra tickets (YES! *punches fist into air*). So I'm officially going, even though my mum hasn't signed my form... *cough*

As you can see, the first week of school's been pretty eventful... Oh, piano lesson was quite alright. I didn't get scolded for not practising:). But we have a chemistry test next Tuesday. Pray for my soul, won't you?

By the way, did I say that someone's been stalking me?

Kind of pissed off right now.

The first day of school after the hols: I couldn't sleep last night. Had butterflies dancing to some kind of Indian dance in my stomach. I think I finally fell asleep at 3am.

I got a crap maths teacher; same as the one I had last year. It's alright I guess... At least I've got most of my friends in the same class.

English: Now's the bit I'm pissed off about. Either the person who allocates subjects is blind, or plain stupid. The latter seems more possible. I got put into a SHITTY STUPID SILLY SENSELESS CLASS. And I'm getting the highest levels anyone could get. What the fuck's wrong with that stupid dumbass?

Sorry for the swearing. You'll be angry if your intelligence is being insulted in class each day. As usual, we had to write some introduction. The teacher said 'write your name and the date', then proceeded to say this: 'Now write "My name is ____" and 5 things you like and dislike, and what your opinion of English is'. What the fuck? I'm not a Primary one prick.

I don't think I'll last till the end of the year. Going to see the teacher tomorrow to ask if she put me in the wrong class. If she says no, I'll throw my books down in her fucking face and walk home (after all, it's only about 10 minutes walk away).

What's it with Chinese parents and their children?

Yeah yeah, boys carry down the name and blah blah... They're God's angels and girls are the devil's shit. What the hell...

Now my mum's making me do some chores while my brother just sits in front of the f*cking computer vegetating away. Why? Because I'm a fricking girl.

So girls are condemned like in the old days of China to be servant girls. Why don't we stop going to school? After all, education is useless for us.

And it's not like the guys mate every second of their lives. They get to order girls around and all the big bullsh*t, but some of them end up single for their lives. That's how shows like 'The Bachelor' come about.

Oh yes. Is there a chance for a sex change op? *peers hopefully*

Yes, sars... Haha!

If you had no idea what Sars was talking about: Chapter 13 is up! Since you guys are so lazy, I shall put a link here.

Chronic gers

Sorry that it's late again... My brother was hogging the other comp. Change the 'was' to an 'is'.

Yeps, enjoy!

I was just wondering how amusing the 'Instructions: Go to your music player of choice and put it on shuffle. Say the following questions aloud, and press play. Use the song title as the answer to the question.' quiz would be on my classical playlist.

Imagine...:

Do people secretly lust after me?

Beethoven's Symphony no. 5 in C minor 1st movement allegro con brio. Hmm... This says a lot.

Anyway, on another note (a pun, a pun! -cued gasps-), I've finished the first draft of chapter 13 of cgers! Yes, it's about time... I think it's about 2 months overdue? That's from my last hols... So it should be up either tomorrow or Saturday.

Heard from Jiaying that tons of people from 203've got leadership roles in the school (eg: Sars, Eun and so on and so forth). Congrats people. Haha... Looks like everyone's quite settled into stuff. Except me! I'm still this stupid lunatic that's raving mad.

Oh, and I went to Pirates of the Caribbean 2! It's pretty boring... About Davy Jones and the Cracker Cracken or something stupid octopus-like seamonster that's obese. You don't really have to watch the first movie to understand it... It's kind of funny, but somewhat confusing. Then the usual lovey-dovey stuff between Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly (spelling?). Wasted $11 (weekend night movie).

On Monday, I went to this bonfire party at this friend's house. It was pretty cool, except that I nearly fell when we played hide-and-seek (his house is 5 bloody acres big: as in, the land size. His poor mother would be cleaning the house till her grave if it were 5 acres big), and my partner in hide-and-seek squished all their lettuce while he was running. I also dropped this snickers bar which was found next to the squished lettuce (maybe it was I who squished it: oops). We toasted marshmellows on the bonfire, but I didn't dare eat mine as it had all the twigs and crap in it (I stuck it too far in).

It was quite fun, except that I felt pretty sick after drinking 2 cans of coke in less than 2 hours. Without adding in all the other sugar I got from the marshmellows and chocolates.

Went to help at my mum's shop on Wednesday... I got paid $11! ($10, and a dollar tip) It was only for about 3 hours, and I got to read all the mags, and ate a mars bar, pringles and other stuff (means I worked for only an hour). $11 for an hour's work is pretty good. :)

I think I'll go now. Had a bad night's sleep last night, and was awoken rather early (ok, it was about 10 in the morning) by an inane phone call. Considering that I slept way past midnight last night because it's so fr*cking cold I couldn't sleep (it was like 1.4 degrees last night), I should turn in early tonight.

Oh yes. Good luck to all who are taking that Chinese Oral exams tomorrow!

Yes! My holidays are here!

Like I've promised, I will start on cgers on Monday, and hope to finish it by Wednesday/Thursday. Check the website for updates, or just check back at this blog.

Anyway, Sars and I were discussig about the ger dialect (aka ahsoh lang), and we were thinking of having a 'term' for it. Just as I came up with 'gerlic', the both of us disconnected from msn. Blargh.

So here's it.

Gerlic (Pronounced as gerlect): The language/dialect spoken by gers (see following explanation). Examples are leh, lor, lar, HUH. A parody of garlic (their English stinks) and gallic.

Ger (g-urr, or grrr when angry): Gerlic for girl. Often used to call females. Are found in 'The Chronic Gers of Nanyang', which is based on a true story.

Sars, what do you think of that?

And all of you out there, I'm but a poor little sarcastic mockingbird who's been denied of speech for the past week due to the f*cking dentist. Yes Karene, I know you're rejoicing away.

Fausty, my school is retarded. Who would name it so that the name alliterates (maybe illiterates)?

Sera, have you read the whole Ender series?

And Yanne and Pui, I really hope to catch up with you guys, but you always seem so busy with SIAs (yes, they due this week...). My apologies for being busy with my work for the past few weeks (had so many assignments and tests in these last weeks), but now it's my hols, I hope to catch up with you guys when you're free.

How long have I not tagged/blogged? I really must blog more often. This is so unlike me.

Yay. The football match is in 4 and a half hours time (Germany and Portugal: I reckon Germany will win. Didn't bother betting, since I'd only get $0.20 if I bet a dollar, and would lose it all if I didn't win). And Faus, don't forget our bet (GO FRANCE. IF YOU LOSE, I'LL KILL YOU). Haha. That was inane.

I'M ON DRUGS.

Just anaesthetic. Let me elaborate on this.

I woke up with dread because today's D-day: DENTIST CHECKUP. Anyway, my mum was late getting home (after sending my brother to school), so I was late for the dentist appointment.

So I arrived at the clinic already in a flurry, and lay with terror on the bloody chair. The stupid dentist tilted it back so much that I nearly fell back head-first to the floor. God.

Anyway, she started with the usual drills (get the pun?) and poking things. Then, she did something that made my gums really hurt. At first, I thought that it was because she poked at the wrong part, then: SHE DREW A F*CKING NEEDLE AWAY.

Shit. I didn't even know what the stupid woman was doing to me. And she was saying about how I was so good and didn't cry when I was silently cursing her in my head. F*cking idiot.

Went back to school during maths, but couldn't sit for the test as I was too late, and didn't want to take it with half of my mouth stiff and immobile. Great way to shut me up I guess. I nearly had to write that I was at the dentist and show it to the teacher as I sounded somewhat like Forrest Gump trying to tell him about my terrible ordeal.

Pissed off. And I still have to study for my Maths test tomorrow (memorising stupid surface area and volume formulae etc: Sec 1 work), and do an English movie review on a movie that's older than I am. F*ck.
