Sorry for an eternity of not posting... I'm sure everyone must have been dying to read a new post right?

Let me explain the inactivity:

Friday before the one that just passed: Hist and chem test
Monday: Physics test and hist (oral, which was supposed to be due on mon, but I was scheduled for wed)
Tues: Lit was supposed to be due, but being an oral presentation, it was due on Fri (scheduled)
Wed: Maths assignment test (intro calculus), hist presentation
Thurs: Maths assignment test (geom and trig)
Fri: Lit presentation, nerd night (this Maths competition called 'have sum fun')

Nerd night was actually quite fun :). Well, besides the fact that we came 4th as we lost by ONE mark (GAH). At least we did better than the other team. We got free pie for lunch as a bribe... Except I'm not a great fan of pie and I didn't eat more than 1/20 of it.

Ohoh, on Fri, we got our hist assessments back. In my essay (in class), I got so tired of scribbling, I actually said television CHANGED in terms of cultural context when television wasn't technically invented (meaning patented/widespread) till the 1940s. What I meant was FILMS. So in his comments, my teacher told me to get my facts right. I was asking him what his comments were (his handwriting's quite atrocious), and he was reading them out... So when he got to the end which was about the television thing, he was like 'you know, you should get a detention for saying television was invented in the 1920s. But I'm not going to publicly humiliate you'. And my first reaction was 'you mean it was invented before that?!' Thank God I didn't say it out, or I would probably have been publicly humiliated.

I didn't do that bad: 20.5/25. Yes, stop glaring at me.

Anyway, I GOT A DOG TODAY :). It's a maltese crossbreed, and her name's Maisy (what her previous owner called her anyway). Her owner was going to Queensland, so yeah... She's so cute :). I should post pics some time (when I take them), but I don't think I'd be too happy if on my first day, some person used some weird thing to 'look' at me...

My mum thought she was mute as she didn't bark the whole day. But, when I took her to see the neighbour's dog (Geoff: he's a really 'nice' dog, though he looks very fierce and quite large, compared to Maisy anyway), she started barking and growling at him. And they nearly fought. Quite surprisingly, given how Geoff is usually very friendly... Probably because Maisy pissed him off by growling at him. Can't blame either of them... Maisy's new, and Geoff probably got pissed because he was trying to be nice but it didn't help.

Why am I even trying to analyse dogs' actions?

Before I forget, GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO'RE GOING FOR SYF!

And I swear the teachers are in cahoots as to when to set tests and assignments. I had 4 assignments and a test this week. Next week, I've got NONE. The week after, I've got 4 tests and an assignment, and it's only a 3 day week, it being the last week of school (Thurs' arts festival [lame thing], and Fri's Good Fri). Man. It's going to be a hell of a week the week after...

I'm not exactly worried about my Intro Calculus, Chem, Hist or Lit ass... The one that's most worrying's the Geom and Trig. I blank out during the test. Hist: I could get 60% and still get above the class avg (since my avg's 84% now). Lit can be done next week, chem's revision. Intro calc is relatively easy (differentiation). Geom and trig is... *cough* Vectors, surds, earth geometry... Vectors are worrying. I can cope with the easy ones (the ones in the txtbk, but not those that require a huge load of thinking). Surds are fine. Earth geom: I nvr did it officially in class, but it's relatively easy (for one of them [latitude I think], you just throw a cos something in front). Vectors are worrying.

Gah. I'm tired :(. And my right eye's so itchy...

Oh, and my dog looks like it's suffering from malnutrition and fleas :(. The previous owner didn't have much time I guess. Quite sad :(.

I really should steer away from all the marks crap. Except that I can't wait to see my family's look of horror when they've realised I beat the crap out of him. Oh well.

I kind of regret not blogging on 203 day. Yes, I did put it on my msn nick, but it won't be in my archives to relive it:(. And why didn't I blog? Because I was working my arse off on my maths assignment.

Sometimes I wonder why I've become like this. I want to go back to the happy times in 203, where I just laughed off a 39/100 in Maths. I have no idea why I took so many maths and science subjects when I could just go 'f*ck this' and take humans. Has the world really made me change that much? Have I sunk that much down the rabbit's fur?

I get depressed, think of the times in 203, get even worse, almost to the state of tears. Somewhere along the way of orientating myself in the world, I lost the shadow that constantly reminds me of life. That life isn't just about a few sheets of paper, life isn't all about sibling rivalry, life isn't all about making a fortune and dying unhappy.

I don't even know why I sit with a huge group of people during lunch, half of whom wouldn't even give a damn if I dropped off the Earth tomorrow. Why? To make people think I'm popular? To delude myself that somehow, people wouldn't judge me anymore? I'm tired of sticking with this kind of sh*t. But I don't want to come home and get scolded because 'you are so anti-social. Why can't you just accept anyone?'

It makes me want to stand up in the middle of the discussion of dog's breakfasts and yell 'F*CK YOU ALL', and stomp away. Thinking of that makes me think even more about 203, and I do walk away, but quietly.

203... I did say life goes on after 203. But I didn't add that it doesn't go on very happily.

I can't say how happy I was to be in the middle (literally and metaphorically) of all of you. Thinking of 203 makes me want to go back to NUS after my sh*tty high school education here.

Happy very belated 203 day.

Finally, the Maths assignment has passed on. To my teacher, I mean.

And she passed another one on to us yesterday. Shall I be rude and say, OMFG?!

Great. I have a lit assignment (and I don't even know who the sh*t I'm working with [everyone knows at least someone in the class whom they're close with, thus me, being new, am left with the person who was absent today]), maths assignment, chem test, history test, history assignment, physics test and God knows what due in the next week and the Monday after next.

Sh*t.

At least history test is an essay, so there's not much studying. Lit is due Tues the week after next, and great, we just got it today, I don't know who I'm going to work with till Tues (hopefully that person will be in class), have a week to work on it, and we have to present it.

Sigh... I hate this crap. Why must I be the only person having to go with a stranger by default? It kind of makes me want to drop lit... None of my friends are taking lit. But no, I will not drop lit. Although the prospect of being able to take music is tempting...

Besides that, school's fine. My avg for all the subs is 77%, and it's not up to my expectations... I want at least 80%. Close enough though, given that it's only been the first test. Maths and surprisingly, lit, are my weak points (maths being geom and trig). They're the only 2 subs I got below 75% for, which is quite disappointing... Though lit's considered quite good, it being 17/25.

F*ck. I have to beat the Gestapo or I shall be under the german dictatorship for the rest of my life.

Chem was quite interesting today. I ended up not really doing my work, and we were discussing global warming with the teacher (we being some people in the front row).

She was talking about how people aren't scared of global warming because it all happened before in the 80s, where they talked about the world dying by 2000, and it didn't. So blahblahblah, and how people think it's a scam, etc etc. I reckon it's a scam too, to make people frightened sh*tless, they start killing each other.

Then the bell went. That sucked.

I kind of like my chem teacher... She's can teach, and she's nice. And a random fact being that her daughter's cute. She listens to my 'innocent' bickering with my friend during chem (I always multitask), and went 'No, you won't' when I told my friend that if I had to live with another boy in my life, I'd pack my bags and go live with the martians (because of the gestapo). She kind of reminds me of Ng too...

So does my lit teacher. She walks like Ng, she's almost as tall as Ng, she carries her wallet (which is similar to Ng's) like Ng, her handwriting looks like Ng's. Sigh...

I don't really like her though (lit teacher). She's good, she can teach, but she comes across as being really cold and 'bo-chap'. I mean, as a new pupil, I don't expect her to 'baby' me, but shouldn't she at least have done something about today? Or even bothered asking me how I'm coping?

The other teachers do that so constantly, it gets on my nerves though. Esp the geom and trig teacher, whom I swear hates me. She asks everyone how they're going along, and when she gets to me, she kind of 'nags' at me. 'How're you going? Are you sure you're ok? If you need any help, come ask me. I like people asking me stuff. I'm not paid to twiddle my thumbs... Don't be scared to ask me for help, I'll be sitting at my desk.' I'm just like ... Hello, I know if I need help? Fine, she's a kindly old lady, blahblah, she treats me like her grandaughter or something, but it doesn't stop it getting on my nerves.

Ok, enough ranting. HOW WAS CAMP?!

Money = happiness

Ace your tertiary entrance exams, get a scholarship, go to some top university to do law, get a first class ticket through life, earn a fortune by selling your soul to the devil, live a materialistic happy facade of a life with heaps of luxuries, become an old cantankerous spinster, leave your fortune to a kid who walked you across the street and a cat you had the whole of your miserable life.

That's what society's fortune teller told me to be.

Not some author or journalist or teacher or pianist or other artistic daydreams. 'You don't want to end up on the steps of some great stone cold cathedral in Germany begging for a few pennies to get you by do you?'

Reality bites. Get your stupid soul out of its artistic daydream and send it to the devil, and get your geometry and trigonometry act together before you become a bum, a parasite of society.

Don't you just think heaven/hell seems very enticing?

There are just times when you want the power to will someone to die, and it will happen. This is one of the times where my murderous intents take over my fingers.

The Gestapo, as usual, has gotten on my nerves. He, as some of you might know, bought himself this little mp3 player for $159. Fine, it's his money, he worked for it. What pissed me off was that we didn't even have lights in the house, and my parents are financially tight at this moment because of his f*cking school fees, which are about $40k a year. And he goes and buys his stupid mp3 player at his whims and fancies. Couldn't he have used that money to help with his school fees? NO, it had to be for his selfish uses.

So I was fiddling around with it because he put it near the comp. Then he came in, and got pissed off because I was touching it. Hello, put it in your room if you don't want others to touch it? Or even take some care to put it out of shared territory? It isn't my fault if he leaves it there for the whole world to touch.

What a selfish bast*rd. If he dropped dead now, I'd be happier. My parents' financial difficulties would be solved once and for all. He wants a car when he gets his license. For God's sake, why did he spend his money on the bloody mp3 player? Save up for your own crap. Don't pressure your folks to somehow scrimp and save because of your silly selfish whims and fancies. Stop making it sound like they OWE it to you. In fact, YOU owe it to THEM. All my parents' life savings are pouring into his uni education. And what does he give them in return? Crap to bear.

I'm pissed. How the heck is he even gonna earn his keep/LIVE in future, I have no idea, and cannot bear the idea of. His head is so inflated with daydreams of the world revolving around him and owing him a living, my freshly-cut TOENAILS would be able to prick it.

Urrgh. To think that such monsters are going to become leaders of the future. Mary Shelley, you sure were a walking oracle.
