I've just finished blogging at the school blog, after Yanne had kindly enlightened me. Thanks! Anyway, Sars just told me that cao lao shi called the parents of those who didn't hand in their CME portfolio. Unfortunately, if she called my dad, she would have wasted her money, which incidentally, is the school's. With teachers like her, it's a wonder that school fees don't escalate. Oh well. Mom's back with the pizza. Yum... 1:01 PM
At the moment, I am seeking enlightenment as to how to blog at the schoo blog, for somehow stupidity seems to reign in my thick skull... I am still unable to rouse it from its eternal sleep, and this is certainly *fortunate*... I'd managed to get an account yesterday by sabotaging my mom... *rubs hands in evil glee*. As her phone had auto-roaming (my dad got it for her as he could still sms her in Singapore), I'd decided to take advantage of that fact, and get myself an account... If the school teachers wish to call her, they can pay the international rate for all I care, and my mom would call the mental hospital right after they've put down the phone. To elaborate on that, it will be because of the seemingly obscure rantings that they would be dishing out to her, such as 'It is very rude of you to insult your teachers with those cynical remarks!' or 'we really, really love your posts (RIGHT)!'. Perhaps the one thing my mom and I would have thought in common would be that the person on the line had been put under the inferius curse, since our teachers are all alike fish out of the water (in other words gasping then dead) after reading my highly cynical (imaginary for the moment) posts. So to all teachers: If you wish to add a considerable amount of money to your monthly phone bill/get rid of free talk-minutes, do phone my supposed phone number on the school blog. Your calls would be definitely appreciated, no matter how much time you spend talking. So please whip out your phones, and dial '1800-3864541'. Incidentally, I've forgotten my mom's actual handphone number, and for all ignorants in the world out there, that's the quality service hotline for those who want to enquire about IMH, which once again for ignorants, is the mental hospital of Singapore. And once more, that's a toll-free hotline, so don't fret and call immediately (even the NKF hotline costs at least $5...)! 11:39 AM Saturday, July 30, 2005 This was a joke the priest said today, and I thought it was worth a laugh. He was talking about a long-lasting marriage, and so this was what he said. There was this husband who was celebrating his 25th annivasary that this priest talked to, and well, asked the secrets of a long and successful marriage. The guy (let's call him Scott) said "By always saying 'yes dear'". Scott then continued and said that his wife and himself had wine and companionship every week: He went on Tuesdays, and his wife on Fridays. On their recent annivasary, his wife suggested going to a place they didn't go often, and Scott said 'the kitchen'. And the last time they quarrelled, it was because his wife asked him 'What's on TV?' and Scott answered, 'Dust'.' Then, the priest decided to talk to the wife (let's call her Anna). Anna was wearing her wedding ring on her right hand, which for all ignorants and those who are not love gurus, is the wrong hand to wear a wedding ring. The priest, out of curiosity, asked her why, and she answered, 'Because I married the wrong man'. The priest then concluded that a successful marriage was one that lasted till the husband and wife could no longer resist the temptation of murdering each other. How interesting... 11:00 PM
How sad debates can get... Yanne just told me that Ram's left, and Samantha (sp?) Yeo is taking over... Bleh... My jaw dropped all the way to the floor, and hit it with a heavy thud (ouch!). So I am having a really big difficulty speaking now, and do pardon me... At the moment, I've just visited the N*****g Blog that was being advertised the NKF charity show way during assembly yesterday (as I have heard, and I am proud of this hearsay). I am really tempted to join in the fun as I have been promised immunity (unless teachers wish to take a flight here to scold me), and it is really exciting to see how the teachers (esp M*K) reacts to my unsurpassed cynicism (haha... thank you, thank you...). It's fun to see how people blow up, though it's not advisable with *certain people*. Enough random rantings. 4:55 PM Friday, July 29, 2005 Spots of multi-coloured lights like on a Christmas Tree are appearing before my eyes, after reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. On top of that, my poor neck looks like a turtle's at the moment (deduce everything you can from that inane imagery). I guess you could say I am really outdated, but do keep in mind that I am but a poor old churchmouse (or baboon for that matter), and has not a cent to my name, not to mention a Harry Potter book. Also, the Popiah -oops- Pope had advised (a known synonym of banned) all Catholics from reading the highly-revered book to stop a 'rumoured revolution' against himself. That's just a joke, but the reason I am reading it is not because I plan to revolt against the Catholic Faith, but just to complete the series and proudly say 'I've read the whole Harry Potter series!' Having made that clear, pray allow me to get on with what I want to say. Dumbledore has indeed become 'Dumber-dore', giving his life up for a silly guy sporting a lightning-shaped scar on his oily and pimper-speckled forehead. Do forgive me if I imagine Harry Potter wrongly, but from what I concluded from the book, he is just an ordinary kid who is suffering from hormone-rage-attacks, and the cliched word called 'love'. And I am sure Dumber-dore must have been an orphan, since his parents should have taught him not to eat (or consume for that matter) unknown substances/objects. I guess if U-no-poo had put moth balls or his own poo (what an apt pun) there, Dumberdore would have taken it like he was a young kid eating Macdonalds' Happy Meal, and taking a bit home as a toy. He was so dumb as to not think of pouring it away onto the floor, or maybe it's because I am such a genius... From now onwards, I shall refrain from commenting on what happens in school as it would just worsen my already bad health and add on to my long list of sins, now that I have added 'reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' into the list. Talking about my health, I am still unable to ask my mom for a pair of spectacles, being afraid of the spectacle (pun fully intended) she'd make upon hearing the 'spec-tacular' news. I'd be glad if she doesn't drown me in her spit. As a result, I am putting up with being unable to see what's on the board in class even though I've moved to the front row (this brought forth a violent tirade of cussing from my classmates for blocking their view with my enormous head [that's mostly hollow]). At the moment, I am still reeling from the shocking blow of seeing my Primary 3 teacher here. I must say that the paths of foes always cross, for she is the most hated teacher -shhhh!- I'd ever met, though it was in IJ. Fortunately (or unfortunately), she did not see my gawking, and thus I just grabbed the sweets off the shelf (have I said that it was in a supermarket?), paid (fortunately I was still mindful of my surroundings), and ran out of the supermarket. It's just so miraculous that she also emigrated here... Talking about shoplifting, my mom said that 2 days ago, she was at another supermarket and she saw this pregnant woman who was caught pickpocketing. The woman was caught, and she was flailing and threatening to fall down... Her baby was way past the 6th month, so the guards were rather frightened of her falling as they would be charged for murder (read up on law for your own info) if the baby was past the 8th month if I am not mistaken... But she was shouting really loudly, so everyone dropped their vegetables and rushed out to see what the commotion was about. Enough digression. Back to my Primary 3 teacher. Sars, you'd know her... She's Mdm Buang, and I know that she was incharge of Civics Club which I was in till I quit in Primary 4, but I never liked her. It's so irritating that I never see the teachers I really liked again (eg: Zhang lao shi!!! *someone else -totally private and confidential; don't try guessing-), but had to see assh*les like that Primary 3 teacher. No offence to Sars. The atmosphere at home is really like on Cloud 99 (no typo error), as my mom finally managed to secure that piece of land (for building our new home) that she'd been eyeing for so long. Well, that was the prime reason she quarrelled with my dad over the webcam... Wow. I guess that's all... There is no one online at all, and my mom is chasing me to look at the floor plans of houses. That's all for the moment. 5:25 PM Thursday, July 28, 2005 Sorry that I haven't been updating... Really pressed for time as I've been rushing through last-minute homework because of all the relaxing I've been doing. Finally I've ploughed through packing my English file, and yes, I am really relieved. These few days, I am getting really stressed and depressed, making me see things, including images on WASTEPAPER BINS. I was sitting docilely(RIGHT!) during an English lesson when I was just compelled to look at the wastepaper bin, thinking it was better to look at than my fat English teacher, and I saw this image of a woman. I was so frightened, but when I went to throw a piece of paper, there was nothing on the black bag. Anyway, enough of that. I don't wish to talk about the unhappy subject of school... It's so sad that N*****G debates lost to RI! And it was in the semis... What a pity! Bleh... Don't be disappointed debaters! We can always try again (with the exception of myself)! And I totally agree with Yanne. Maths brings joy. The END of Maths lesson or having NO Maths lesson brings great joy to me. Sorry if I've offended anyone with the above sentence. I can't stand Maths lessons here. It's like I am an encyclopedia, and even to the extent of 'Popular Bookstore'. The guys here are so dumb, and keep interrupting my work by asking me ridiculous questions, and using my stationery. Stupid assh*les. I just feel like telling them to f*ck off, but it isn't polite, and I wouldn't wish to downgrade myself for sh*t like them. It's so sad that no one actually replies my emails. Others emails are like boombarangs (sp?), while mine are just like throwing meat buns at dogs (they never come back). At the moment, I can't think of anything else, and somehow food hit my brain as I am hungry. No, this analogy does not apply to my MSN nick, which is 'A friendship can be like toilet paper: used, wasted then flushed down the toilet bowl and forgotten.' It's just that my COPYRIGHTED quote (which is my MSN nick) struck me when I was speaking to Sera, and I just blurted it out, though it's somewhat embarrassing to relate friendships to TOILET PAPER, though Timmy can be counted (HAHA). I have been churning out all sorts of rubbish that people would claim to be creative. 'If at first, the idea is not absurd, there is no hope for it', as Einstein claimed. That is just pure testimonial for my demeanour. Well, that's all I guess. I am really exhausted. Bleh. 10:48 PM Monday, July 25, 2005 Sorry if I come across as being depressed/cynical/just plain insane and inane. Currently, there's just waves of nostalgia hitting the shores of my heart with thundering crashes, moving the grey pebbles on the warm sand away. Perhaps it's time to let my true identity fly back to the world of ideas on the wings of love... It's been said that loving something is setting it free, and my soul's been hammering at the walls of the physical body for as long as it's been trapped. But a loser like me never has anything gone right... As many times as I've tried to free my soul from this physical burden, I've never succeeded... I don't know what's happening, and I am just sinking into this pool of stinking mud and quicksand with so many stones around my neck, and the more I struggle the deeper I sink into it. It's just waiting for my imminent death, and just being helpless, falling further and further into an endless and unfathomable abyss till... Forget it... Ignore what I've said... No one cared much about the two-cents words I mutter anyway. 7:38 PM Sunday, July 24, 2005 Yanne, you are NOT going to pull the team down. If anyone should pull it down, it would be me, since I was irresponsible enough to go for the camp then just tell Ram that I was going off. So just do your best, and go for it! Do all DEBATERS (and ex-debater) proud! I miss debates so much, I just wish I was back in Singapore with the rest of the debaters, especially in this highly exciting debates competition season. I guess what's gone is gone forever, and there's no point in looking back, but sometimes you never appreaciate what you have until it's gone. Like those who are diagnosed with illnesses, they never appreaciated what good health meant till they were diagnosed with an illness. Life is just so sad... To Claire: I am not sure of the exact date that I am returning to Singapore, but it should be around the start or 2nd weeks of December... I will visit NY, but it would have to be in January when school starts! By the way, it's just so obvious that you are still in denial... To Jiamin: I may be getting contacts. Haha! And thanks for your compliment, though I am definitely not like what you said. :) Pamelia, GLOAT. Yanne, I mentioned you in this post! :):):) PeiRong, tell your mom that fans of 'one flew over the cuckoo's nest' should unite! *SNORTS* Faus, TOO BAD. :P Anyway, here's another excerpt from 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest', and for those who want to know the reason why I changed my blog url, do email/ask me through MSN, as it is really politically incorrect and bad for my health to put it up here. Thanks, and apologies once more for all inconveniences! 'A sound of cornered-animal fear and hate and surrender and defiance, that if you ever trailed coon or cougar or lynx is like the last sound the treed and shot and falling animal makes as the dogs get him, when he finally doesn't care any more about anything but himself and his dying' I think that paragraph was really sad, thus I decided to post it here to depress all of you. Just kidding! 8:36 PM Friday, July 22, 2005 Oh yes. I forgot to mention this in my previous post... I am officially suffering from myopia. My classmate had to loan me her glasses as I couldn't read what was on the board. Bleh. Laugh all you want... I'd probably get contacts, as I look super nerdy with glasses. Right... I am not sure about the degree yet, but I think it's rather high. Perhaps 150? 7:26 PM
This sure is getting freaky... Yesterday, I had this premonition that Mrs Ng wasn't going to school, and something would happen to her. Today, Faustina's blog says that she has to go for some operation. Hmm... Maybe I should email her out of concern, but I doubt I'd do so. I'd probably be deemed to be sarcastic once more. Then I had this premonition that some teachers besides Mrs Wong were saying that I wasn't handing up homework, and sure enough, Shiru told me that Lao Shi is asking for my work too. Bleh. I am getting really frightened with my psychic powers... So today, school was boring. During Maths, we were asked by the principal to pick rubbish up, when he himself wasn't leading by example. During lessons, you could see him and his dog strolling in the field. Wow. He's drunk most of the time anyway, or he wouldn't employ such lousy teachers. Opps... I shouldn't have said that. I got really irritated, especially during Maths, which was extremely redundant and boring. They are doing GEOMETRY, which means MEASURING ANGLES and GETTING MEASUREMENTS FROM CLUES. How idiotic it is... And so, the guys are copying my work, even WITHOUT ASKING. Stupid assh*les. I just spent the whole lesson staring out of the window, and the teacher sure thought I was insane. Do I care? And that's a rhetoric question, so don't get my goat by giving me inane answers. School is boring me to tears, such that I am hearing things. During Society and Environment(which is like History) today, I heard this knocking on the door(as I am sitting in front, the dopey looking dwarf I am), and opened the door, only to the stares of my teacher and classmates who thought I was mad. Well, I got really embarrassed, but there was nothing to undo the situation anyway. Bleh. I just hate school. Remember in one of my earlier posts, I mentioned that 2 teachers approached me? One happens to be my brother's Science teacher, and apparently told him about it. It certainly doesn't help to have a brother in the same school, and who would snap up every opportunity to outdo and mock at you. Bleh once more. I miss 203, for no apparent reason. Absence makes the heart grow fonder indeed. Countdown of about another 5 months to my return holiday to Singapore!!! 7:12 PM Thursday, July 21, 2005 Here are the excerpts. For more info, read the post before this one. 'He(Pete Bancini) had come to life for maybe a minute to try to tell us something, something none of us cared to listen to or tried to understand, and the effort had drained him dry. That shot in his hip was as wasted as if she'd squirted it in a dead man - no heart to pump it, no vein to carry it up to his head, no brain up there for it to mortify with its poison. She'd just as well shot it in a dried-out old cadaver. [...] Pete never tried anything like that again, and he never will. Now, when he starts acting up during a meeting and they try to hush him, he always hushes. He'll still get up from time to time to wag his head and let us know how tired he is, but it's not a complaint or excuse or warning anymore - he's finished with that; it's like an old clock that wont tell time but won't stop neither, with the hands bent out of shape and the face bare of numbers and the alarm bell rusted silent, an old, worthless clock that keeps ticking and cuckooing without meaning nothing.' 2nd excerpt. ''This world... belongs to the strong, my friend! The ritual of our existence is based on the strong getting stronger by devouring the weak. We must face up to this. no more than right that it should be this way. We must learn to accept it as a law of the natural world. The rabbits accept their role in the ritual and recognize the wolf as the stong. In defence, the rabbit becomes sly and frightened and elusive as he digs holes and hides when the wolf is about. And he endures, he goes on. He knows his place. He most certainly doesn't challenge the wolf to combat. Now, would that be wise? Would it?' That's all for the excerpts. Isn't it just so sad? I mean, you all probably don't get the context since you guys haven't read the book, but if you get to, do get it. It's definitely worth your time and dime. And somehow, I just wished I'd read this book earlier, because it's really great, and because I should have known before challenging the 'wolf'. I just see such a relation between Mrs Ng and Nurse Ratched, the person the metaphor of the wolf is refering too. Not that I am this white innocent rabbit that twitches its nose and bob, cottony tail all the time, but well... The school uniform is white... I am just feeling really sad, that the world has to come to such a state that oppression reigns, and people are forced to do things against their wills, against their principles and morals. Sigh... Yanne, I hope you liked the excerpts, since I think it'd fit what you've been telling me over MSN. This world is so cruel and full of hate, it just chides me out. 6:13 PM
Bleh. I may be typing out 2 excerpts from 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest', since I find them really beautiful, poetic and meaningful. Listening to REM, U2, Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, and some songs from some musicals at the moment. What a nice mix of songs... I am really eccentric. This part may be a little depressing, so this warning is here to tell you to get out if you hate depressing posts. It's sad to see what the world's becoming. Of course, that includes the taste of books. Books like Harry Potter are so popular, while beautiful books like 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' are branded boring. I think the world just doesn't know how to appreciate good books, and all they care is that the book has big fonts, and is thus easy to read. Bleh. Most of the ideas in Harry Potter don't even link! Like suddenly, Lord Voldemort just appears (or apparates), and I am like 'what the hell's going on???'. It just breaks your chain of thoughts, and you are suddenly unable to picture what's going on in your head. That's why I hate it when people interrupt my reading too. Bleh. What more, it's so sad that the movie 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' is R-rated. Maybe I'd get my mom to rent it from the video renting place for me:). She doesn't even know that I got her to borrow M-15 movies that day. Muahahaha... Anyway, school's really exhausting, and it's just suffocating (metaphorically and literally), since the school uniform has those collars that just 'squash' your neck. Bleh. And what more, it's just making me lose track of time, of days, of months... It's just like a motion picture that just flashes past me, and it's rather dreamlike (nightmare-ish, for that matter). Somehow, it's like you are being imprisoned, where there is not a single clock or calender, and most importantly light. It's just like day and night melded together to form this word 'day', and time has no effect on you. I don't know what I am holding out for (maybe I am holding out for a hero, as from Shrek 2 *snorts*). I just hate the world, and well... What's there left for me? 4:50 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2005 Bleh. I am feeling rather depressed at the moment, and yes, I shall elaborate. I was sitting alone, reading 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' outside the school library and eating my muesli bar, when 2 teachers approached me. It was really intimidating, so I was like 'what the hell's going on' in my head. One's the HOL, and the other's the Head of House. So they were like 'are we interrupting your reading?' Obviously they were, but I was like 'no, it's fine...'. Of course I couldn't say 'Get your arse out of my face' even though I really wanted to, so as the nice and polite girl, I just said it was fine. They then interrogated me about whether I was always around friends during recess, and I was like yes... It's true, since I was just too engrossed in the book to want to do anything else. So they were like telling me that if I needed help, I could just approach them, and I was like OK... and went like 'what the hell does this have to do with them?' in my head. It's so clear that the school here 'discriminates' against those who are different from them, and those who are not 'popular'. Thinking about this 2 issues would just be like the Catch 22 syndrome. For those who are ignorant, that means that it's a cyclical conundrum, which means it's a circular logic, which is a 'no-win situation'. As much as I would like to use the Occam's razor, I am unable to do so, since well... Back to the subject. I just feel it in the atmosphere, and it makes me really uncomfortable, but I just can't do anything about it. Bleh. Maybe I'm destined to be an anti-socialist bast*rd for the rest of my life. Just ignore what I say at the moment as I am just feeling really depressed. Sorry for taking up your precious time to read my unworthy rantings. 8:04 PM
School sure puts me at my wits end now. Not intellectually, and not exactly emotionally too. I mean, it's like I don't know how to make it even slightly enjoyable. Bleh. Enough dreary sh*t. I've borrowed this book called 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest', and I must say that the book is a MUST READ. Ken Kensy is just a magician- he's able to blend freedom and incarceration seamlessly. It's so bleak, yet so hopeful... AND YANNE, THE BOOK SUPPORTS EUTHANASIA. Muahahaha... So little people are online, and that's rather depressing. Something rather miraculous happened. Remember I'd blogged about having to do a presentation on a novel, and I did it on TKAM? Yeah... We've gotten the results back, and I am like one of the top... The teacher said that the content was really good, and I felt really nauseated by the way she was praising me. Damn... Anyway, for PE, we are doing SOCCER! And you all are doing badminton. Haha... I love soccer! Mr Tang'd agree with me if he was here. *Snorts* I've to go now. More Science homework, and the wonderful teacher'd promised to give us homework EVERY NIGHT, and she wasn't kidding. WOW. Guess what we are doing for Science here? EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION. About tight jar lids and that nonsense, of which my brain's wiped clean of a few years ago. We learnt it in Primary 5? Or was it 4... Bleh. I got so bored, I started looking for flying pigs again. And that wasn't the first lesson I did so. I did it for every single lesson. Right... Mrs Ng's going to be so proud of me, since I've never succeeded to find a flying pig during her lessons in the past, and I guess she's advise me to continue with the quest. Wow. 7:28 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2005 I am dead beat after the exhausting day at school, where the nightmare turned into reality, and slapped me right in my face. It seems that I am supposed to be happy that I am in the best class for almost everything (besides PE [Right, go ahead and tell Ms Chang for all I care. She's ramble about how I failed target shooting last year as I threw the tennis ball purposefully over to NJC]). I saw this magnificent sight that would probably last me for a lifetime today. We were given new timetables, and well... Some people got 'promoted' to the better classes and vice versa. So I was in the best Science class (yes, deem it a miracle that I managed to get into the best Science class even though I nearly flunked my Science) when I spotted some unfamiliar faces, and one of my friends. She was in another class the last term, and my, she was so hyperactive as she was elated and on cloud 99 (no typo) that she had been 'promoted'. It's amazing how people here can derive happiness from such trivial thrills of life. Bleh. The Health Education project wasn't due today after all, so it could be said that I wasted the LAST day of my holidays doing something so redundant and stressing myself out when I should be out in the sun with my brother doing jumping jacks in his open kimono. And what more, I'd realised that I missed out tons of information last night, thus had to enlist the help of the already busy Yanne to get websites for me to rip information from. How moronic can I get... Anyway, I've had enough of project work, since I did the LA SIA article with Sars on Sunday, and had to edit it, though I didn't do a thorough job as my brother was yearning to go online shopping for his new bikini. The old one's strap snapped. Ignore those two sentences as they are completely fictitious. I just feel like collapsing on the ground like a dead turtle, as I feel just really tired... Someone get me a mattress before I crack my skull on the ground. Oh... No need for that then. I've been thinking of slashing my wrists anyway, since there are not enough high-rised buildings to jump off from. How sad life is... 6:20 PM Monday, July 18, 2005 I'VE COMPLETED MY HEALTH EDUCATION PROJECT! Man... It took me ages to get down to doing it, and doing it, since my mind obstinately refused to work upon catching a glance at the project I've done so many times. Bleh. R.E.M songs are cool. I somehow am able to feel what the songs are about. Fine... My taste of music is really, really old... But that's me. Sappy, outdated me. Losing my religion (By R.E.M of course...) Life is bigger It's bigger than you And you are not me The lengths that I will go to The distance in your eyes Oh no, I've said too much I set it up (chorus) That's me in the corner That's me in the spotlight Losing my religion Trying to keep up with you And I don't know if I can do it Oh no, I,ve said too much I haven,t said enough I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try Every whisper Of every waking hour I'm Choosing my confessions Trying to keep an eye on you Like a hurt lost and blinded fool, fool Oh no, I've said too much I set it up Consider this Consider this The hint of the century Consider this The slip that brought me To my knees failed What if all these fantasies Come flailing around Now I've said too much I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try But that was just a dream That was just a dream (repeat chorus) But that was just a dream Try, cry, why try? That was just a dream Just a dream, just a dream Dream. Here's more lyrics. I am currently bored stiff after STARTING on my Health Education project. I have made up my mind to rip everything off the Net, and just paraphrase. Damn... I can't stand this stupid project. It feels like I've gone back to Primary School, and there's tons of points to substantiate that. Will elaborate later. I have been tied down with these huge gargantuan stones around my neck, and they are pulling me deeper into the mud pool I already am in. I can't stand the school (here in Perth of course), doing all the irrevelant things. I am really tempted to put in my health education project that any moron can just stuff himself to death, and it seriously won't concern me, as I already know what a healthy diet is, and since I'd be getting rid of a moron from this dumb world. Damn... I am seething with anger. Now to prove how 'primary-school-ish' the school here is. People have come up to me and asked if I spoke English. Perhaps I should have scolded them some vulagrities in Chinese, since they don't even understand Mandarin, but the 'good' part of me that's all stale and filled with cobwebs somehow possessed me, and made me just glare at the guy and go 'DUH', like how Mrs Ng does so. Oh well... at least I humiliated him infront of his peers. Somehow, I feel that they think Chinese are moronic. Isn't that just dramatic irony? This is just the way my holidays have to end- Doing a moronic Health Education project instead of running around on the beach of Tahiti. To kill two birds with one stone, I shall answer Jiaying. NO, I haven't returned from Tahiti, and wish I would never need to get back to school. Seriously, I am having daily nightmares (and day-mares, if there's such a thing). I certainly hope that I would not get a nervous breakdown in school, since I get all clammy and cold when I think of the interaction with those morons. Fine... I know I sound as if I have this 'holier-than-thou' attitude, but do let me get this off my chest before I go to school and bellow 'MORON' at those people. Bleh. I feel so helpless, and crying doesn't help at all, though that's what I'm doing at the moment. Laugh, you people. It doesn't feel good when you don't even have tissue paper to wipe your tears, but toilet paper (and one-ply for that matter). I am just really frightened... There's 2 months more of school before another 2 weeks of holidays, and 2 weeks just passed with the twinkling of an eye. There's no more holidays till September, and I don't know how long I can hold out before I breakdown. Sigh... Anyway, let me try to make this post have a lighter tone. My mom asked me to help her dye her hair, and I was like 'I don't know how to... I can only make your hair DIE'. She then said that it was like painting, and I was like 'I don't want another F in my Art...' That probably shut her up, since she's doing it herself now. *Evil laugh...* I'd better do the moronic project before doing anything else. The 2nd project in 2 days, since I was helping Marissa do the LA SIA article yesterday. Bleh. 3:39 PM Sunday, July 17, 2005 Harry Potter 6 hit stores worldwide yesterday, but I strongly refuse to buy it. As much as I would wish to finish the whole series, I refuse to spend my money on such a book(seriously, no offense to anyone). I somehow think it's rather childish, and in a way bimbotic(see Peirong's blog for further details), of course, really predictable. There's no thrill at all. Nothing else to add to this, for fear of offending people(I've offended enough people to last me a lifetime). FOA was yesterday, and I heard that a good show was put up by all. All the way people! This sounds so bloody formal... Nothing else at the moment. 2:54 PM Saturday, July 16, 2005 Thanks Xin Rong for the enlightenment, since this old granny here is getting all foggy and wrinkled like a raisin. Maybe you're wondering why I used raisin as an imagery, but nothing can penetrate the slumber of my thick head at the moment. Currently, I am getting all frightened and afraid like Dakota Fanning in War of the Worlds. The only exception is that I am not that LSM(little screaming machine), and well, my supposed Dad is at the other end of the world. That's just some exaggeration(SOME?!). Jokes aside, now's the time for the true reason why it's the War of MY World. For a certain reason, there's no one on MSN on this bright and sunny Saturday evening. For your information, it's 4.20pm right now, and because the Earth tilts at a huge 23.5 degrees, the time in Singapore and Perth is the same, for those who are still ignorant of that fact. I've had people going online and asking "What's the time now?" Obviously, I got so amused at their humurous flair, I nearly fell off my chair in sheer delight. I guess they missed out a few words, of which I would add in now. "What's the time now, Mr Wolf?" Oh yes. How could I forget to mention this? I must say that I am rather glad that I wasn't in **** yesterday, for I would have been defeated by the Powerpuff Girls that unfortunately didn't crash into the flagpole(and on a *certain teacher* always standing infront). Maybe I should stop being so mean and vile. Hmm... Anyway, I am off to read The Straits Times. I subscribe to the online version, for those who are in the dark about that fact. Alright, someone enlighten me about why everyone's offline soon! Thanks! 4:14 PM Friday, July 15, 2005 Now tune in to the weather update with none other than myself(of course, this is not the weather update but on the teachers' moods). Ngville(how about vile?): The weather took a drastic turn for the worst after hurricane Jolene hit it. Temperature dropped to a freezing -1000 degrees, but immediately shot up to about 3000 degrees, due to a heat wave. Many disasters were found in that area, with the examples of blizzards and sandstorms, leaving villagers dying and homeless. Lee-lliput(Gullible's-opps- Gulliver's travels): It was as per normal, equally stifling. That was just self-entertainment. I am waiting for the musical South Pacific to be broadcast at 9, and that equates that I have exactly 51 minutes left to waste. Opps... I seem to have forgotten about my HEALTH EDUCATION PROJECT. I have officially gone back to primary school, though it's really, really different from IJ(which I would never ever forget). IJ's probably etched its name in my heart, like **** did, even though in different places of my heart. Suddenly, I miss my primary school Chinese teacher(Zhang lao shi). She'd probably be disappointed that I've become anglocised, since I'd wasted all her efforts in getting me to appreciate Chinese. Certainly, I miss ****, but it's not the school as a whole, but just certain parts. I don't think you'd expect me to long to be under the dictatorship of *certain people*, though it's not the ruler of Ngville. I've rebelled against the ruler for so many times, it's probably her turn at vengeance now, with that email. But overall, it's rather fun to stay in Ngville, since it's really exciting, with everything so unpredictable. You wouldn't even know when you'd step on a landmine and blow yourself up. Unfortunately, I've stepped on it(though only once) and would like to appeal to modern day scientists to invent wings so that we wouldn't be able to step on landmines. Obviously, there would be something called 'airmines' soon after that invention... Anyway, enough random rambling. Just a congratulatory note to all who were in the inter-class dance competition(from 2/3 for that matter). Congrats especially to the Modern Dance group for clinching the first place. But of course, without those in the Chinese Dance group, 2/3 wouldn't even be able to have clinched 2nd place. I mean, not that ranking matters, since it's the effort that matters, but just to say congrats, and thanks to everyone for making this possible! (Why do I sound so much like Mdm Mak thanking people?) 8:04 PM
Just to follow up on the NKF vs SPH case, the Executive CEO Mr Durai has resigned. Hence, the case is closed, and may have no more mention. Joking... Now, I would like to talk about the article on revamping the History syllabus in Singapore. Somehow, I think that no matter what, it wouldn't work, since the core of the problem lies in the students themselves. If students just keep having the mindset that History is boring, no matter what drastic actions are taken, it wouldn't help at all. As quoted from the article, 'Secondary students questioned at a neighbourhood school in Jurong and an elite school in Bukit Timah equated history to facts about the past that were to be memorised and recalled in exams.' Somehow, I think the 'elite school in Bukit Timah' is related to our class, though I wasn't present at the first lesson with the MOE people due to the ongoing Debates competition at that point in time. But as I've said, deep down in my vile heart, I have this vague suspicion that it may be related to what someone in our class(I do not know who it was, nor what was said), about exams just a regurgitation of facts. Maybe it was yours sincerely who said it. I seriously suspect that I may have had amnesia, thus not being able to rouse up any memory on the subject. From the article, we can see that both students and teachers think that the best way of teaching would be using Powerpoint slides and teaching in a chronological and lecture style. Honestly, even using that method could be interesting. Ms Koh's teaching certainly doesn't vary from that, but why do we all love her lessons? Seriously, I didn't think the visitors from MOE could teacher better than Ms Koh. Quoting one of my earlier posts, 'I would have fallen asleep had they stayed on for another minute'. And I don't think that Source-based/structured essays require a huge amount of regurgitation, since I would have flunked badly if they did require the facts(I never studied for any test[shh...]). Ms Koh must be really disappointed if she sees this... With this last quote, I hope it would provide some laughter for you all, as it did for me. 'Ultimately, this kind of training(drawing conclusions from different sources[source-based questions]) makes for more intelligent citizens.' Right. How true this is. Anyway, just to address the subject of the email. I've already sent the apology to our form teacher, and maybe she would mention it to you all. I am honoured beyond words... 12:17 PM Thursday, July 14, 2005 Although I am out of Singapore, this does not equate to me being oblivious to what's happening(in the school or the nation). Obviously, I do not wish to talk about the school at the moment, since well, there's nothing I can do to salvage anything, but talk about something else. Perhaps those of you who read the papers would be aware of the controversy surrounding the case of Mr Durai(the executive CEO of NKF) using the money donated by the helpful citizens of Singapore to fly first-class/for his personal luxuries. I decided that as a Singapore citizen, I do have a right to comment on this. Many people may be so outraged, they are now planning to cancel the donations to NKF in further fundraising efforts. Personally, as one who used to donate to NKF too, I wish to say that we should not judge the whole issue due to one bad apple. Of course, you would say that I am in no place to say this, after that fateful incident. But what you all didn't know is the lesson embeded in the incident, and how much I've wisened up from the event. By cancelling your donations, where are the patients going to go for their daily dialysis? Sincerely, I hope that Singapore would be able to remain it's charitable nature, instead of punishing the patients for one person's deeds. I guess it's hard to forget the $600 000 salary per annum of Mr Durai, but as much as we wish to help the patients, he too wishes to do so. Perhaps we should look on the bright side of things(now who am I to say this once more?) instead of focusing on the wrong doing of a single person. I know that I am having this 'holier-than-thou' attitude here once more, but yes, I do believe that by stopping the donations from flowing in due to one bad apple, it's doing nothing but killing the patients. What good does it do to the poor patients by stopping the donations? Many of you may argue that taking the small amount of money a person in a 3-room HDB flat and installing gold-plated taps/pricey German toilet bowls may be wrong, but it's sad if you kill the patients in the course of this. Fine. This sounds so holy, I might as well submit it to some Catholic community to put in its bulletin or publish this in the Straits Times Forum. As a result, I know that no one would care about what I write, and shall stop wasting my time and effort. 12:49 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2005 Maybe I shouldn't go on 'The Oprah Show', as much as I am obessed with it. Reasons are as follows: 1: The school's teachers may not be receptive enough(Yanne, you are not the only un-receptive one) to watch shows of other cultures. 2: Oprah may mistake me for talking about wrong bras, since she has somehow become obsessed with women wearing the wrong undergarments. 3: Oprah may be moving on to the next topic(maybe about wrong panties), and well, may mistake that I sent an offensive email on the wrong undergarments the teachers wear. Obviously, I may be offending more with this post, but I somehow think that repression is not the solution(see previous post) to a happier/healthier/holier life. For your information, I am pretending that I do not know anything about the matter, since *a certain person* did not even have the courtesy to email me about it, and just continued yabbering behind my back about how narrow-minded I was. Perhaps the yapping could be seen as narrow-minded-ness? Of course not... She's a saint, I am the devil's advocate. I mean, it's no use saying anything, since it wouldn't be able to salvage the situation anyway, except maybe apologizing. But please note that I do have a temper as well as an ego. It's up to you to decide whether it's a huge one or not. Certainly, I hate people who can't handle things professionally, but is it my choice to decide what a person does? Though the little part of my heart that is filled with goodness(and bile, by now) keeps nagging at me to apologize since it is indeed my fault, I have decided to put it off till Friday, when most of the dust has settled. Once more, a reminder that I am still in Tahiti, so do look me up if you wish to punch me for insulting your favorite teacher. 7:06 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2005 Sorry if I sounded cynical in the previous post. I am back here to give more of my cynical views. I guess I should start watching 'The Oprah Show', since we may even see some of the LA teachers with my email there. I mean, I should be honoured that they are bestowing so much attention on my measly email, but perhaps some of it could be classified as 'over-reacting'. The next thing they'd do would be to disect me and conduct a test on my brain cells to see what made me email such a vile thing. Really, this issue is getting very politically-incorrect, as well as bad for my health. Somehow, in the little corner of my evil heart, I regret not being even more sarcastic and cynical. According to Freudian's theory of repression, it is not a solution to repress needs to be sarcastic and cynical, and how sad that I actually held back so that I would not cause as much trouble to the other 2 people, who are rather innocent. As usual, I am always the one at fault, being all sardonic, pessimistic, cynical and God-knows-what. Right. But now, I am just going to apologize again, though I know it wouldn't help anyway. Do tell me what happens during assembly tomorrow, since I should be *honoured beyond words by the actions of the teachers*. That, of course, is being as sardonic and cynical as I can be. Do look out on 'The Oprah Show' too. 8:25 PM
All bets are off. I did send that email, and yes, I did interview Stella Kon through an email. For those who want their money back, you can find me in Tahiti with my brother doing jumping-jacks in his bikini. And I am not sorry for putting that image into your heads. Well, it's amazing how people are unable to differentiate between a joke and an offensive email. Perhaps I did take the joke too far, and I am sorry for it, though nothing I say can salvage the situation, unless I start to sue certain people for violation of the copyright rule, though it won't do anything but worsen the situation, and add on to my already long list of sins. Oh wow. Eunice said that my blog sounds really 'Adrian-mole-ish', and I guess I should indeed be honoured, since it would be good in my writing 'career'. Only exception is that I am rather allergic to the name Adrian, given my time in that school. And to end this all, I would like to apologize to all who think that my writing style is seriously offensive, and no, I am not going to do anything about it, since it'd probably be even more sardonic and cynical. That's all, and I am sorry if you lost this bet again. Oonce again, I'd just like to remind you that I am in Tahiti, and do look me up if you feel the impulsion of punching someone. 7:27 PM Monday, July 11, 2005 All of you should have heard about that matter by now. I admit that I am at fault, and Melesa and Marissa are mostly innocent. I am just taking the rap for something again, but anyway, I can't testify for my wrongdoing. And mind you, I am angry that the certain person backstabbed me again. Perhaps a better way of doing it is to clarify everything with me first, than go blasting at poor innocent people. And yes, you can all push the blame to me for all I care. Anyway I am known for passing sardonic/vile comments about others, and a few more words wouldn't kill. 7:48 PM Sunday, July 10, 2005 It's amazing how my parents can even quarrel through MSN/webcam/audio. Wow. At the moment, I am really stressed, because of this damned quarrels that go on at 9 every night, when my dad comes online. Tune in to Squabbles of 2 Adults on Channel Mojo at 9. Don't forget to come back tomorrow! I can just feel the family totally disintegrating, but I just can't do anything. It's one of the times when you feel especially helpless, and moreoever, it's one of the things that's close to you. Not that my family's been really close, but it's getting worse. I mean, there are things that a woman needs, but are not in my father's means(I m not sure about this). My mom is like any typical woman: She needs security, is rather materialistic etc... There are things only a man can provide, the most important to be security, especially in a foreign land where you are not sure of which step to take next. I mean, imagine if your parents are separated by the ocean(I have not the remotest idea what ocean it is), and still quarrelling through cyberspace in the 20 minutes a day that they see each other. Sometimes, I just feel like ripping my hair out in pure frustration. Adults acting like young kids quarrelling over ice-cream. I mean, it just irritates you, and for me, makes me really helpless. I don't know what to do... And it's not like I do not have enough of my own problems. School's becoming a really bother... I have to do some f*cking HEALTH EDUCATION project. Look at the sh*t I have to put up with, on top of family problems. Life is just so full of cr*p, I just feel so tired... It's one of those things that you've tried so hard, but never succeeded. It's so stressful here... Not in the sense of SIAs and homework, but emotionally. Soon, my mom has to start some business, and yes, we are staying at a rented house. I mean, everything is still in the dark. We don't know what's going to happen, and my dad's in Singapore. Fine. Maybe I am being pessimistic and cynical. Anyway, I've always been this way, so no one would give a damn. Right. Just take it that I am being pessimistic and cynical once more. 9:28 PM Saturday, July 09, 2005 It's rather unfortunate and surely disappointing for my fans out there to notice that I have taken down my posy on the CO. Obviously, I've realised that it is not even worth a space on my precious blog. Having had a visit to Xin Rong's ingeious blog of photography, I've felt the impulsion to comment on it. It is rather depressing to note that most of the photos were well... Not politically-incorrect, though it would just be courting death for her, but pure pleasure for me. Maybe if you do have some, Xin Rong, you wouldn't mind sending them to me? As you already know, teachers can't do anything to me, and I promise/pledge that I would never divulge your name even if the need arises. Thanks! Elton John is on television, and my brother looks so interested. Perhaps he's planning to walk in the former's footsteps... In any case that any of you are musically "retarded", Elton John is allegedly a homosexual. Not that I have anything against him being a homosexual, but I am just using him as an example of what my brother's prospectives are. I mean, I don't understand why people think that by listening to a homosexual's music, you'd become homosexual too. So if you listen to stupid people all the time, you'd become stupid too(maybe I'd prove that theory right soon). Very soon, there would be a theory by me, and my fans would go shrieking wild at the sheer delight that I have been so ingenious. Right. Ending on a slightly lighter tone, I've gone to the school website, and found that the site dedicated to the FOA is completely atrocious and the colour combination is just like chocolate ice-cream and onions(quote of Simon Cowell, for that matter). But it's down right amusing as our dear form teacher's email address is there for people to spam her with enquiries on this arts extravaganza. The interview with our beloved art teacher is really amusing too. I mean, it's really obvious who did the interview and who did the web... Maybe it's because I am observant. Right... When was I ever observant? Anyway, no more long posts for the moment. 9:45 PM Friday, July 08, 2005 WARNING. The following post is going to be really politically incorrect (actually, what's the definition of PC-ness? *Launches into a lengthy essay of PC-ness*), and if you, the reader, are those in the radar of the "easily-offended", please do seek the carefully stencilled, with a green background and 'EXIT' in white, and get the HELL out of here. Thank you for your kind attention. NOTE: The author will not be held responsible for anything due to the full protection of the first amendment right, and would lose no opportunity in taking the accuser to court if the need arises. So you have been warned, and if you cannot take the following paragraph, and would suffer a cardiac arrest after a series of "insults" of something you dearly love (ie. your school), get out, get out, get out. I am sure enough's been said here. Now launching into the actual post. Opening my IVLE email inbox, I was delighted to note that I had received 3 new email messages, 2 from my debates coach(ex-debates coach, for that matter), and one from a teacher by the name of Mr Shone on the school's national BLOGGING competition. As inspired as I am to post something on the sacred blog of the INTELLECTUALS OF ****(for the privacy of the school, and mostly my longing to live, I shall not divulge the wonderful name of the school), I am unable to do so due to the fact that I am no longer in Singapore, and my phone is hereby unable to receive any messages from Singapore as I sadly do not have auto-roaming. Having had the heart to do something for my previous beautiful school, I'd willingly put my name down(and my life), to sign up at Moblogs(if it is spelled this way) so that I'd be able to do my part for the school. But I was told that the password would be sent to my handphone, and unfortunately the damned server did not accept overseas phone numbers. Disappointed and dismayed, I'd thought I'd post it here on my private blog instead, under the shield of the First Amendment Right. Unfortunately, some unwanted visitors (ie. teachers) had previously decided to drop down the chimney and had given me enough "Christmas presents" to last me for a lifetime. Now that I am no longer in the school, and have read up more on the law of journalism/protection or rights of writers, I am able to rise up from the vulnerable and "bully-able" student into an "able-to-bully" human as I no longer enrol in that school *HA! See what you can do to me!*. And if you dare to copy this post and show it to the whole school, I'd sue your pants(and maybe underpants) off for plagarism as 1: I never did mention any details of the school, except that it's in Singapore, and there are more schools in Singapore than the visible stars in the night sky in Singapore(it's too bright for stars to shine[metaphorically too]). It's your fault if you decide to scrutinize my work and conclude what school I was from, and as much as I know that I have a fan club out there(and most people are clamouring for me to get to the point at this point in time), I have to make this point crystal clear so that unwanted visitors would adhere to the rules of this blog. DO YOU GET IT?! Right. With this national blogging competition, the school has once again broken it's own "rules". Why? Maybe some of you have forgotten, but some people(you-know-who) got into trouble for writing some nasty stuff about teachers(or teacher, for that matter). So I am being nasty for backstabbing teachers. But hey, who did that first? Who went to our teachers and told them what nasty and backstabbing people we were? It's rather ironic when you look at the big picture, isn't it? First, it was the Mulan bands, which rather reminded me of breast cancer bands(no offence to anyone, but that was what I initially thought they were giving out before they clarified the matter with people as perverse as I am). Of course, I should applaud the theatre club for their endeavour in advertising for their performance. But what I did not like was the idea of the school bending it's own rules to make ways for this! And what about this blogging competition now? I'd always thought that the school was against blogging from all the remarks/complaints that they'd made about PC-ness(in case you haven't realized, this means 'politically-correct-ness'). So this means that we are allowed to do anything if it's for the good name of the school? I don't think this makes sense... What more, I'd heard some rumour that they were going to have a PANEL OF JUDGES to see if our class t-shirts pass some test of PC-ness again. Digression's over, let me get back to my point on blogging. In this competition, I am sure we are all expected to give great comments and compliment the school for being so liberal. You could say that I am being pessimistic and cynical, but deep down in YOUR very hearts, you know that what I am saying is true, and this is just another means of attracting media attention/competition for fame. Perhaps I am wrong to say this, as some of you would say, as I'd been nurtured and groomed by the unconditional(yeah right...) love and care of the teachers in the past one and a half years in that school, but I unfortunately think that sometimes, we shouldn't be so timid and speak up. Many of you would say that I would of course speak like this, as I am no longer in the school, and it wouldn't affect me at all. I must admit that it is true, and I am being rather impudent and arrogant and God-knows-what in speaking this way. To summarize my points. I do not support the blogging competition as it is only a means of vying for fame, and has no other purpose than that. What more, I can't stand the fact that rules are being bent just for this purpose. I mean, no one is perfectly honest, and there is a gray area between honesty and dishonesty, and of course, the school rules lie in between(the area shall be called wormville, since it's the area for WORMING your way out of trouble). In wormville, anything can happen, and we must assume nothing, and expect everything. WOW. Anyway, this post is long enough, and my fingers are aching from all the complaining. I apologize if anyone is offended, but please, read the warnings with caution the next time you decide to visit my blog. And please be reminded that I shall not be held responsible for the above post. Thanks you for your kind attention, and reading of my rantings. 12:11 PM Monday, July 04, 2005 Fine. I'd already typed the whole post out just now, when my computer kindly decided to hang on me. I imagine that my computer is as good as me, since I've been thinking of hanging myself long ago. Oh wow. Sorry for not updating for such a long time. Just as I'd wish to be in touch with my many fans out there who are dying for this post, I must caution my curious fans that curiosity does kill the cat, and you fans too. What you all are going to read is something written by someone who loves to address herself in 3rd person, is really tired and frustrated as well as cynical and depressed. Notice that everything has to do with emotional stress. Nothing much for my fans to fret about though, since well, there's nothing much for you all to do anyway. Just that this author is really frustrated, as there is no one to have interesting and intellectual face-to-face talks or someone to allow her to unload her heavy burden on face-to-face here. Unless the author is supposed to talk to ants(or any other flying/crawling/floating insect for that matter), microscopic bacteria(as much as the author's self-talk is (in)famous, this is really crucial here) or pieces of wood(the author is already doing this in school every single minute). Here's what a probable conversation with a piece of wood would be like. The author: Are you only left handed? Piece of wood(notice that the acronym for this is POW, which is the same as prisoner of war, though it's seriously inappropriate for a piece of wood): Yes. The author: Are you only right handed? Piece of wood: Yes. The author: Are you ambidextrous(notice the similarity to Bob Ewell... Not that the author's ego is such to claim the relation to Atticus Finch, but just for the matter)? Piece of wood: Yes(contradiction). The author: Are you sparstic? Piece of wood: Yes. How interesting it is to have had an exclusive interview with a piece of wood... Finally the author has decided to take back the post, and write it in first person. Landcrest(it's supposed to be Seacrest), out. Fine. I am starting to have a serious suspicion that people have only the word 'yes' in their vast vocabulary. I mean, this may sound mean, and exaggerated, but I guarantee that it certainly isn't. Oh well... Who am I cheating that I am innocent? I've been really drained out. Just 3 weeks of school has made it seem like 3 years. Imagine starting an intellectual/philosophical discussion with people who only say 'yes'. I am sure Mrs Ng would have been in jail by the end of her first day here, since she would have commited murder. I am seriously considering that, since I would be able to miss school by doing so. But it would have to wait till next week, when the 2 weeks of school holidays end here. Many of you are struggling with your Maths retest, while picturing my brother in his bikini lying on the beach sun-tanning, with me surfing/wake-boarding. And mind you, I'd only written the above line because I've come to learn that an unwanted visitor- ie my brother- has recently decided to join the Jolene's blog fanclub. Ain't I supposed to be honoured? And seriously, I shouldn't have given you the image of me falling repeatedly into the raging waves. Although I still have about 13 days to go before the holidays end, I am already starting to have nightmares about going back to school, and my heart would palpitate and eyes become like the Orchard Road map whenever I see the slightest object related to my school. I'd wake up screaming, or drenched in cold sweat at about 3 AM, then have difficulty getting back to bed. Maybe one day I'd wake up in my pee. Honestly, I haven't peed in my pants for about 8 years. Right... Why did I ever say that? One of my recurring nightmares is one of my Mathematics teacher asking the class "one plus one equals?" while I sat there, screaming my lungs out that it equalled to 2, with the class staring blankly at the teacher. Then I'd start to wonder about the philosophy of numbers, and start looking out of the window, and suddenly, my teacher would be standing right at my desk, and bring his gargantuan hand onto my head. I'd then wake up with a jolt of pain, and find myself on the floor. Remember that I sleep on a double bunk bed, and the top of it. Fortunately(or unfortunately) no one sleeps under me. Moreover, the facing of the bed is South, and in the past, it was North. No, that has nothing to do with fengshui at all. It's just the side of the bed that is against the wall. I'd gotten confused with the side, and taken it to be the same as the one at home, thus falling on the floor with a thud. Counting the time that I have thinking through philosophical questions during lessons, I'd soon go insane and stark raving mad. No one would care anyway. People here see me as a floating brain/walking britanica, and wouldn't give a f*ck about what happens to me. Sorry for the vulgarity. I seriously doubt the facilities in the asylums here though. What a trivial thing to worry about... So after getting all depressed and despaired at the human race due to the thinking, I'd get all stuffed up with those thoughts that I wouldn't even feel like eating, and yes, I nearly fainted 2 Sundays ago. Maybe Xin Rong is right, that I am suffering from an illness I'd refrain from mentioning here for fear of people gasping and falling off their chairs, and suffering from concussions. I do not have the money to pay for your medical fees, and so do go get insurance before looking at my blog. Another problem is my inability to sleep. I'd keep reading till late into the night, then wake up on the floor and have trouble going back to sleep again. Thus, I've taken to keeping a book under my pillow. It's a Dilbert book at the moment. I can see the envious looks on many of your faces at the moment... I certainly must applaud Scott Adams for explaining my thoughts so explicitly. The world is going to stupidity, and there's nothing to do about it except pray for the War of the Worlds that would either kill you and other smart people like me, or kill the dumb people of the world, or both. Let's pray that God has divided Heaven/Hell into 2- One for smart people like you and I, and the other for stupid people. I guess that's enough stupidity for my smart fans and myself to thrive on for the moment. That's all folks. 10:30 PM
