It's 3 days before my first mid-year exam. And lo and behold, my graphics calculator died on me LAST NIGHT.

At least I managed to salvage most of my stuff before the memory totally wiped. The calculator turns on, but the entire screen is BLACK. Of all times it has to die on me, it's now.

A saving grace is that I don't have an exam on Monday. So after going into a total panic mode last night, I emailed CD and asked for help. And he promptly replied today! So I have to see him in the morning on Monday to organise a fix/replacement. He's really great. I mean, he must be one of the only teachers who checks their emails on weekends (*coughTDcough* and physics assignment email which took 2 weeks to be replied to).

And this means that I have to put a hold on my physics movement chapter revision, since scientific calculators can't solve quadratic equations very well (S=ut+.5at^2). I'd be very happy to pass my physics exam at this rate.

Curiously enough though, I feel quite prepared for physics. There definitely is more that I could do, but I'm pretty happy with what I've done. I just need to get through the practice exam he gave us, and I'll be just about done! Probably the constant revision before tests has helped a great deal, since I've done all the study guides (which is 3, mind you) and redone all the questions in the booklets for every topic except half of movement (which was when my calculator died).

However, I have only just started lit TODAY. And the exam is in 4 days. Basically, I am SCREWED, with huge capital letters.

And we got our crappy poetry essays back on Wednesday. To be honest, I actually didn't do too dismally! 19/25, which is way better than what I expected, considering the lack of a thesis statement in my essay. And also, because the top mark in the other class was 22/25, while the top mark in our class was 20/25, meaning that I got the 2nd top mark in our class! And the funny thing is that I didn't even do any studying for it (there was that physics test on the same day).

I went to see the old baldie yesterday during sport to get feedback on my essay, and he actually said that he was very impressed with how much I know about the texts (aka Adrienne Rich's poetry)! I guess credit must go to the feminist musings I did on Adrienne Rich. And I think as a result of him being impressed with my essays, he's been asking me to participate in class. Gah.

Oh, I topped last week's chem test too! Although I know of at least 5 other people who tied with me. It was a small topic and short test, probably explaining why so many people did so well. I got 24/25. And considering how I spent the 3 hours I stayed in school for distracting Keisha (I felt really bad though), I was happy.

My lit mark meant that my average got pulled down by 1%, and makes lit my worst subject now! By that 1%, unfortunately, lit is now worse than physics (which I'm getting 80% avg for). As much as there's cause to rejoice for that my worst subject is on 79% and will get scaled up, both physics and lit are conveniently about 12% off my other 3 subjects. It's arguable that it's because I'm doing so well in the other 3, but ultimately still very depressing.

And I should go study. I've spent about an hour fooling around online. And I have my exams in 3 days. And I have not started studying for chem and calculus. Ah shit.

The exams are looming in the ominous horizon. And as much as I've tried to start revision, I haven't been able too.

I don't know why. Everything just starts seeming so meaningless and useless. Why would I bother about the wavelength of sound waves, or the poetic techniques and how they contribute to the meaning of the text?

Perhaps, it is just part and parcel of life. Studying isn't just purely mundane and routine. In a way, it is an escape from reality, into the intellectual realm. It offers a way out from the depressing nature of life.

And yet, when breaking through the surface back to reality, it appears that I've gotten too comfortable in the rat race. Where shall I go from here? Or the common question, what do you want to do?

Simple questions to which I have no answers to, unlike the lengthy calculations I can perform on chemical titrations, or implicit differentiation.

Yet I mask these unhappy contemplations when I step back into the rat race, a happy smile plastered on my face to fool the passerby.

Why do I even bother?

I hate matrices. They're the most illogical things that have ever walked the surface of the earth. Why write stuff in square brackets when you could just multiply them off? Why bother coming up with stupid rules like multiplying rows by columns when it's perfectly logical to just multiply the values off? Pfft.

I'm probably only this annoyed because we've just learnt it this week and lo and behold, it's about the only thing in the whole applic maths course I can't fully grasp. And the applic exam is in 2 weeks time. Ah shit.

At least it's not as bad as physics, where I just don't get EVERYTHING. Or I do, and then lose about half my marks on stupid mistakes.

Am in a foul mood due to all the stress. Emma pointed out to me in applic yesterday that I'm permanently angry. Well, she didn't. I thought CD spelt 'associative' as 'assaciative', and was rather impatient, but he had in fact spelt it correctly. And I don't know why, but I just snapped 'yeah, that's right', only reining the 'fucking right' in at the last minute. And Emma was just puzzled as to why I was so pissed off when it's right. As CD says, don't ask me questions I don't know the answers to.

I guess the stress from tests and the disappointing tests marks, coupled with the school portal breaking down for nearly the whole of yesterday, threw me into a foul mood. Physics, especially, was disappointing, considering the mistakes I lost marks for. It's always like this, and it's annoying because I study so hard, then let myself down. TD said that at the parent teacher too. He says he knows I know the work, but I always make these silly errors that cause me to underperform.

I guess a slight consolation is that I'm not the only one who was/is in a perpetual terrible mood. Nearly everyone in the year is. It doesn't take much to set anyone off, and people have been crying etc, even the ones whom I never, in my wildest dreams, thought would crack up. As they say, there is always a first.

Not to mention the dark eyebags under people's eyes (well, mine are permanent, so they don't count). Our lit class, as I pointed out to Shashi on Friday, looked like 'drugged birds in a glass case' (as quoted from Adrienne Rich's poem 'Like This Together', which we were incidentally studying). And TD, being the absolutely evil guy he is, seemed to be happier just because we were all so depressed. He'd given back our test from Wednesday, and the one we did before this one (he didn't have time to give it out then). Our physics class, for the first time ever, was absolutely quiet and as the saying goes, you'd have heared a pin drop. TD is just like a dementor. Jeez.

So it has been a pretty depressing week at school, and I'm expecting the next 3 to be just about the same. Sigh... Great.

This has been such a crappy week. The number of tests, the snappy people (including yours truly) and grumpy teachers... People bursting into tears unexpectedly due to the amount of pressure. Bah.

Not to mention exams in about 1 and a half weeks time. I have NOT STARTED REVISING.

Today's chem test was quite terrible. Most of it was because I was half asleep... I thought there were 2 answers to a mcq question, then re-read it and realised there was only one. After I'd asked the teacher. And another reaction given was a no reaction, but I spent nearly 10 minutes doubting myself on that.

At least that was my last test till the exams. Teachers aren't allowed to give tests in the week before exams, but some teachers (eg: chem) were sorely tempted to break that golden rule.

And NONE OF THEM have finished teaching their fricking course for the exams!!! How the heck are we gonna get time to revise? This is absolutely insane.

I don't want my physics and chem tests back tomorrow :(. At least a minor consolation would be that the lit essay's only coming back about middle of next week. But both chem and physics are coming back tomorrow because the other physics classes got theirs back today, and our chem teacher nearly finished marking them by the end of our double period. Ah shitty.

And she gave the class an extra 5 minutes because I hadn't finished the test! A lot of the teachers work on the assumption that if I haven't finished, the rest of the people wouldn't have. Which works to my advantage, so I'm not exactly complaining. Except that they look over my shoulder too often for my liking.

I think I'll turn in early FOR ONCE. All the rest of the nights I said I'd go to bed early, I never did. I got carried away doing work and only slept at about midnight. There's just too much work to be done. *sigh*

So I shall go try getting some work done, then go to bed!

Today was very interesting indeed.

Periods 1 and 2 were dedicated to the calculus investigation task. Although I finished it in slightly less than 1 period. My teacher then went 'oh, you've finished?! Do you want to hand it in?' and I went 'Hmm... No'. I was still drawing on my test paper. Haha.

I wasn't the only person who finished early though. Everyone finished by 5 minutes before the end of period 2. It wasn't a very difficult test.

Lit, on the contrary, was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. It was a general consensus that NONE of the 4 questions we could choose from made any sense. Some people apparently spent 20 minutes trying to choose a question, and another 10 just writing an introduction. My intro was painfully short (about 6 lines), so I'll be happy to pass...

Right after all this panicking was... More panicking. Physics test, which was deceptively easy but WASN'T. TD is very, very evil indeed. Well, I finished 10minutes early for one, but I doubt that helped to eliminate any careless errors.

Lunch was fun! CD did remember our pies, although I didn't think he would! And he thanked us for going, and asked us how many years we did it for. I've only done it for 2 years in this school, though I did it once in Corpus (the old, crappy school). CD asked which school I went to (he thought I went to Rossmoyne, which is quite a renown public school). Then he asked if I did Have Sum Fun (the euphemistic and deceptive name of the competition: IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL) at Corpus, and I was like yeah... Once. And Shashi quipped 'oh, was that the fluke year that they won?' and I went 'Gee thanks, Shashi'.

Then applic maths. CD actually got our tests marked! And he wasn't very happy with how the class did... He was grumbling away about the careless and stupid errors we made because we didn't listen to what he'd been telling us all year long. And it so happened that my test was the first one in the pile. So he went '-grumble grumble- don't listen to me' and I was going 'ah crap'. Then he handed the tests out, and said to me 'well, that doesn't apply to everyone'. I actually did very well! 53/56, which was quite surprising, considering how I didn't really study for it the night before as it's only worth 1% and I couldn't quite be bothered.

And the only marks I lost were those that he was being really pedantic with. Bah.

Chem was fun. VB was marking her year 11 (1 year younger than us) tests, and giving a live commentary on them at the same time. She was giving people 1/6 or even nothing for the last question, and reading off their total marks, though she didn't say their names. Someone got 18.5/40. Bwahahahaha. It really was quite funny, though I was starting to get worried that she might do the same for our class...

And I should be studying for tomorrow's chem test. Except that I'm tired after the 3 assessments today, and am half asleep. The brother's car alarm went off at 4.30 in the morning, dragging me painfully out of dreamland.

I shall reply to the tags, then shower, then I will REMEMBER TO CLIP MY NAILS (or claws, or talons) for piano tomrrow and practice piano (which I have not done since Monday. Woops).

Tomorrow's possibly one of the worst days due to the number of tests. And it so happens they're all nearly consecutive.

Period 1 and 2: In class calculus investigation task
Period 3: Free period (used to be history :P) for studying
Recess and period 4: Lit in class essay
Period 5: Physics

What a great day. At least I have lunch to look forward to, where we're having pie provided by the maths department. Very overdue indeed. It was supposed to be for that maths competition 12 of us participated in about 2 months ago.

Anyway, the maths test today was quite alright. I finished with 5 minutes to spare, but as everyone else in our class and the other 2 classes were still frantically struggling to finish, we got a 5 minute extension. So I ended up with 10 minutes spare. And CD was so horrible. He kept sneaking up behind me and walking in front of me (was in the front row) to look at my answers, which greatly irked me.

And he stopped me drawing my ladybird :(. Well, I was already shading in the black circles on the ladybird's body when he walked past and STARED/glared at what I was doing.

And he's really kept his promise of not ignoring me. He gave us a 2 minute break after the test, and because I was bored and tired, I went for a drink. The ENTIRE CLASS stayed put (these are the cons of being in a smart class: everyone's too hardworking). So he was like 'Oh, Jolene's off now'. Bah.

Then he 'went through' the harder questions of the test, and I think for the 2nd last question which people thought was hard, he went 'the answer should have been more than $7.50 and less than $30. At least that was what Jolene got'. I didn't catch what he was saying, but quite a number of heads turned in my direction, including his. I must admit it was quite funny.

Oh, I got the top mark for chem! Am happy :). Though I was quite annoyed at the questions she took off marks for.

And I asked TD after school at the tutoring centre if he accepts bribes (we have a test tomorrow, which I should be studying for now), and he's like 'yeah, sure! Just get your cheque and staple it to page 2'. Then I asked him how much he wanted and he was like 'seeing that I'd probably get sacked, about a few million would be good'. And I said 'well, your expectations are a shade too high...'. So he went 'Oh, then just work harder tonight if you can't afford that few million dollars'. Bah.

Oh yes, I dropped my pencil case in the rain after religious studies. Seeing that it was so boring (we were watching a video on NUNS) and I was in a huge rush to just get out of there, I didn't realise I'd dropped it till I was at my locker. Then I had to double back and search for it, but it was all wet :(. The poor thing. And then my umbrella got screwed by the wind, and I stopped outside the music department going 'SHIT' very loudly to my friend in front of me. Then some really helpful person (or so I thought) came and helped me fold the sides back in, and I turned around and realised it was Gaby. I didn't know she was in school on Tues, but she was today because she wouldn't be here on Fri.

I am officially screwed for tomorrow. Especially lit, seeing that I've slept through nearly the whole term's lit lessons (the other lessons, I just wasn't there). And it doesn't help that I don't quite like Adrienne Rich's later poems, or just those she wrote in the 70s when she was still trying to find her female aesthetic. The more modern ones (ie: 1990s, 2000s) appealed more to me, as did some of the earlier ones.

And yesterday, I went to calc and there was CD helping about 5 people with maths simulatneously (haha, simultaneous equations). That was right after lunch. The poor guy gets accosted by huge numbers of people every lunch time/before school. And he saw me and went 'oh yes Jolene, that answer to question 2d in the assignment was actually right', with me bewilderedly exclaiming that it couldn't be. Then our calc teacher came and shooed him out, and Claire and I were like 'COME BACK!' to CD, but he just laughed and left. Guh.

So after calc, about half the calc class went to the maths staffroom and accosted him. The maths teachers were all like 'Whoa, what's going on?' and were so shocked that none of them actually told him we were there till one of them realised while she was leaving. So she went back and told him, and then she came out and like 'oh, he says he's not there'. He did come out anyway.

Then we started arguing about the question. He had to painstakingly store all the numbers into the calculator to get the right answer, which is absolutely stupid. I wouldn't have the time to do that in a test. And he got the sum of x^2 (it was a question on standard deviation) wrong by one, and Claire went 'OH YEAH'. So he started getting worried that he might have been wrong after all, but he was right. And he was so happy and truimphant about it. Bah... It was so unlikely that he could have been right though. Humph.

I really need to start exam revision, especially for physics soon! I think I'll put off chem, applic maths and calculus till I've done physics and lit... Those 3 are in the 2nd week while the other 2 are in the first. My female intuition (haha, lit) tells me that I'm going to fail physics quite miserably. I haven't started revision, and exams are in less than 2 weeks. Shit.

And I need to go sleep. Too many tests tomorrow... I shall need my brain at its peak performance, though I doubt that will happen.

Now that the random musings are over, it's back to the mundane realities of life.

I just got off a 2 hour chat with Keisha, and I really should go do some work, but I am procrastinating as usual. Haven't actually done much work over the weekend. Ah crap.

Keisha was telling me about how she didn't like me when I first went to St Hilda's because she thought I was an arrogant bitch (well, she was nice enough not to use those words). I would laugh at people for being dumb. Yes, I actually did.

This year though, she was telling me that I'd actually gotten much nicer! I guess I just got so busy that I really cannot be bothered with laughing at stupid people anymore. And my grades also improved, while other people's deproved!

Also, as a result of me becoming nicer, people have been asking me questions such that I haven't had time to do my own work. It just got really bad this term (2 weeks of it anyway), when Shehjar has been treating me as her personal tutor and expecting me to sit with her for 2 hours everyday after school to help her with her work. Or rather, watch her do her work. I personally find it rather selfish, and I am going to put my foot down this week.

Moral of the story? Maybe I should become more mean. That way, people won't ask me because I'll end up laughing at them. But it happens that people've gotten more competitive this year, and somehow people reckon I'm slightly intelligent (don't ask me where they got that notion from). So the smart people from last year are all determined not to help people, and so those people are turning to me for help now. Ah crap.

I really should be more mean.

Anyway... I got my chem and physics mark back on Friday. Considering how a heap of people failed physics and the top mark was only 42/50 (yes, very low for a top mark), I was very pleased with my mark! I got 41/50 for physics, and 38.5/40 for chem. Chem was relatively easy, and a fluke... Hadn't studied for it as I was too busy with physics the day before. And I'm currently topping the chem test! The teacher hasn't finished marking the other class' tests though.

I'm not too sure I'd do that well for this week's though. Bah. Haven't done any study all weekend.

And I promise I will reply to the tags soon! Though not today... Going out to buy dinner now. Sorry!

Yesterday's mass (church) was very interesting indeed.

There was a visiting priest promoting priesthood. I was so very tempted to jump up and ask about women's role in the church. The church has to be one of the most patriarchal organisations around, and yet no one actually really realises it. Why aren't women allowed to be priests? And in the Bible, the women are all depicted to be followers, nurturers and providers. Nothing about teaching/preaching or being of key importance to the spreading of the word.

Maybe I'm wrong and people realise it, but they don't want to do anything about it. After all, religion is a very, very touchy subject and I wouldn't even dare talk about it to a priest without the threat of him performing an exorcism/dumping me into a pail of holy water to expel the devil.

Why is it that feminism is such a taboo subject in society? The role of women is taken on so readily by many in society, it's frightening. The other day, the brother and I were talking about marriage, and how I should find a capable, wealthy husband. My retort, as always, has been that I'm perfectly able to support myself, and that I'm probably more intelligent and will probably earn more money than many men around. It isn't that I'm being a separatist feminist/lesbian, but more of the belief that women do not need to depend on men for a living.

Yes, both genders can definitely exist RELATIVELY harmoniously together. Obviously it would be hard for gender equality, considering how society thinks of gender in such binary terms. However, the stereotypes and roles concerning both men and women do need to change, especially the notion that women have to depend on men for a living.

The other day in lit, we were just discussing the guilt women feel when they enter the workforce when they have kids. The majority of men do not feel such guilt. It is not ingrained into society that men are the nurturers of the family. On the other hand, that is seen to be women's role. In the 1960s, a survey done by Betty Friedan in 'A Feminine Mystique' revealed that a majority of women felt a great sense of dissatisfaction with their lives. They had the luxuries which a bourgeoise suburban life could offer. But is that all?

At the end of the day, it all comes down to the roles assigned by society. Do we choose to take them aboard? Or do we think them through, then decide whether we take them on or not? Most often, however, we get swept away with the waves, and drown, helpless and despaired.

An Unsaid Word: Adrienne Rich

She who has the power to call her man
From that estranged intensity
Where his mind forages alone,
Yet keeps her peace and leaves him free,
And when his thoughts to her return
Stands where he left her, still his own,
Knows this the hardest thing to learn.

I'm feeling depressed. I have just about 4 months left to decide what I want to do at uni, and I STILL HAVE NO FKING IDEA.

Ah crap.

Starting to feel really pressured and frustrated. The courses I want to do, I'm crap at and are termed as 'futureless' (aka music). Those others want/expect me to do, I don't like (medicine, dentistry, law, engineering...).

I could probably get into nearly every course with my current grades, but I don't know which one. Am very tempted to start cursing and swearing, but it won't help me decide what I want to do.

And the fact that everyone, the teachers, parents and peers, expect me to do something 'professional' makes it even harder. The constant pressure of getting good grades and their expectations are sometimes very hard to deal with. They always say it depends on where I want to go but really, it isn't. If I said I'd go to TAFE (something like ITE in sg) after high school, I think they'd rather kill me than let me do so.

Everyone always expects me to pass high school with flying colours, go to uni (Both TD and VB asked me what I wanted to do at UNI during pt-meeting instead of what I wanted to do after school), complete some hard-assed course, get a high-paying job, earn a mountain of money. But is that all to life? Being extremely unhappy just to please society and earn mountains of money? Only pursue your dreams if they're the same as that of society's?

Oh yes, of course, I should embrace the opportunities given to me and harness the gifts that were granted to me by God. Even if it's at the expense of myself, I should think of the 'greater good'.

Why is life always so hard?

I've decided, against my conscience (and the part of my brain that hasn't yet withered and died), to blog despite having a physics test tomorrow, chem test on Thurs and a calculus assignment (which I've finished) due on Fri. I do have homework too...

Probably because I'm having such a huge migraine I just can't work anyway. I've been sleeping at past midnight since the first day of school, and I think it's really taking a toll on my health. Had to just keep shovelling food down my throat with a constant feeling of my stomach dispelling its contents for the whole of dinner.

Anyway... We had some guy come to talk to us about some international community work programme today. I was sniggering through nearly the entire thing, because apparently, we had to NOMINATE a team leader who would be a TEACHER. I was just imagining the various male teachers I have going on it, and sniggering away non-stop as such.

Oh, and our calculus teacher FROGOT TO TURN UP TO CLASS. HAHAHAHAHA. I think she got her timetable muddled up. She came right at the end of the period and riffled through the textbook, going 'yeah, we've done that... We shall be doing that today' while there were only 3 of us left in the class as the rest had fleed before she came (no one wanted to go call her). Then she left to get her stuff, and the 3 of us just ran out of the classroom and took a huge detour around the maths department so that she wouldn't have seen us. I did feel guilty, but I must admit it was quite hilarious.

I do hope she isn't too pissed off though, because we are seeing her for a double period tomorrow morning...

I also saw this quote in an old yearbook that said 'CD is the one who dyes his hair while TD is the one who's pregnant'. Both of them have really similar names (Davis and Davies), so people generally muddle them up a bit. They look really, really different though. CD looks way younger than he is (he's 50 but looks mid-30s), while I have no idea why they said TD's pregnant. And so we were talking about this (not TD being pregnant, but CD and whether the other teachers look their age) after school at the tutoring centre while TD was there.

And he went 'you should not be discussing about the way teachers look, but doing your physics questions', at which I went 'Mr Davies, how old are you?' and he paused for about 2 minutes before going 'old enough to know you should be getting on with your physics'. And added that he had to leave in about 15 minutes, and so if we had questions, we should ask him quickly. And also that he's old enough to know that his kids miss him and need their baths, at which I expressed 'mild surprise', as his kids are daughters I think (except for a son). I did think it was slightly inappropriate... My friends just thought it was my inexperience with younger siblings/children.

I think I'll go practice some piano, then go to bed/do some physics or chem. *sigh* I'm nearly done with the notes for my concerto though... So I'm actually coping quite well for piano! Strange...

Oh yes, we got our exam timetables on Monday. My timetable SUCKS! I have my 2 worst in the first week, and my 3 best on the 2nd week. So I get less time to study for the ones I need the time for. Anyway, it's in less than 3 weeks and I HAVEN'T STARTED. Crap. So...

1st week
Tues: Physics (great way to start off eh?)
Wed: Lit

2nd week
Tues: Applic Maths
Wed: Chem (we have a prac as well:( )
Thurs: Calc (IN THE AFTERNOON. So I'll be half asleep, and just about ready to jump out the windows to freedom, but no, it has to be in the afternoon when every single other exam except the chem prac is in the morning. Guh)

Oh well. Am getting a bit short tempered and rowdy in class. I cope with stress by becoming more noisy, while other people get more quiet. Victoria, who usually talks way more than I do, was so quiet in chem today while I was sniggering and laughing at nearly everything. She did get quite snappy with me, and I was admittedly quite annoyed at her. She isn't coping terribly well in chem...

BED TIME. I NEED TO SLEEP.

I had a haircut on Friday! :( Turns out my mum didn't forget, unfortunately.

And the person cut it way too short so that it's quite hard to tie it up now. Bah... It's around shoulder-length, so it means that I can't exactly tie it up nor leave it. Crap.

Anyway, my parent-teacher meeting was, as I deduced from what other people said, one of the better ones! Keisha got told by CD that she's timid and hasn't said a word all year long (which is mean, albeit true. It's my fault too, in a way. I distract her too much), while TD said that she participates, so she's currently rather confused as to what participate means. Haha!

And Shehjar's mum's not talking to her because of it. I suspect the teachers weren't too nice... Well, I think they were, but her grades just didn't meet her mum's expectations (which are exceptionally high).

Oh, and CD did keep to his 'promise'. For the first time in the entire year, he actually asked me a question! Then he wrote the answer wrong on the board and accused me of getting it wrong. I told him it was he who got it wrong :P.

I just realised how freaky it is that the teachers actually LIKE me. As in, I'd always thought they hated me to my very bones, but apparently not! Especially CD and TD, who seem to dislike me... But I know the old baldie hates me. Not that I care.

My teachers are rather strange though. I've heard stuff about them being extremely mean (eg: VB telling 1 of my friends that she's crap at chem and another to drop the subject last year), but they were so nice to me... It is still rather freaky. *shudders*

And I guess old baldie doesn't actually hate me that much. He actually joked with me the other day! I was telling my friend about how I was so lucky as to be able to miss interhouse marching practice and interhouse cross country last Thursday and next Thursday, and he was behind me and he went 'how do you expect to go to the olympics that way?' Bah... Freaky.

And I'm hungry, and I've had nothing but jelly beans all afternoon, after breakfast. Been studying since about 1.50, but I was playing the piano for about an hour before that. My concerto's actually going much better than I expected! I've got both hands for the whole thing except the cadenza, which Gaby hasn't given me yet. It is slow, but I've actually got it. I marvel at the amount of time I've got...

Thanks to dropping history. Haha. My hist teacher still hates me for dropping it, I think. Last year's heard me getting my form signed etc, and swore he wouldn't talk to me again. The last time I saw him was during my free period, at which he remarked 'enjoying your frees, Jolene?' and I replied 'Yes, thank you very much'. My hist teacher is actually my form teacher though... And she hasn't really spoken to me yet, which is strange, because she used to always talk to me. Oops.

Dinner time. Blog some other time, when I've finished the gazillion tests/assignments these few weeks... Bah. And exams in 3 weeks time! Oh crap...
