I received an sms right after lunch from Young saying that our exam results had been released. 3 whole days early, on a SATURDAY, when I expected all the angmohs to be out relaxing and really, not working. To my utmost surprise, I passed everything! So bring on next semester of med! I was rather disappointed with 1 of my units, while elated with another. Med chem (yes, it was a high distinction) was the disappointing one, since I expected at least 90 (got 86). I guess my expectations are too high? :P Chinese was an 82 (HD too), and FAHB (animal and human bio) was a 74 (D). The latter was the one I was elated with, since I expected to fail spectacularly (ie: close to 50) or pass terribly (close to 50). So it came with great surprise that I not only scraped a pass, but got a distinction! :) Seeing I didn't do bio/human bio, I think it's quite a great achievement? :P And well, bearing in mind I only started studying a week before for all the exams due to an overload in tutoring that was unforeseen (students had exams). Whee! It's been a pretty gd day after all :). At least I can go on my 3 day 2 night hol with family not worrying about stupid exam results. Oh yes, we're going on a farmstay tomorrow, Mon and Tues. Maisy's going too! It's probably her first ever hol, and she can have fun looking at the sheep and horses! Apparently their horse is quite grumpy, so we have to put her on a leash (gosh, she hasn't been on one for... More than 2 years) or risk her pissing the horse off and getting trampled on. Yep, am going off to get stuff ready for tomorrow then sleep. 11:29 PM
