Now that the random musings are over, it's back to the mundane realities of life. I just got off a 2 hour chat with Keisha, and I really should go do some work, but I am procrastinating as usual. Haven't actually done much work over the weekend. Ah crap. Keisha was telling me about how she didn't like me when I first went to St Hilda's because she thought I was an arrogant bitch (well, she was nice enough not to use those words). I would laugh at people for being dumb. Yes, I actually did. This year though, she was telling me that I'd actually gotten much nicer! I guess I just got so busy that I really cannot be bothered with laughing at stupid people anymore. And my grades also improved, while other people's deproved! Also, as a result of me becoming nicer, people have been asking me questions such that I haven't had time to do my own work. It just got really bad this term (2 weeks of it anyway), when Shehjar has been treating me as her personal tutor and expecting me to sit with her for 2 hours everyday after school to help her with her work. Or rather, watch her do her work. I personally find it rather selfish, and I am going to put my foot down this week. Moral of the story? Maybe I should become more mean. That way, people won't ask me because I'll end up laughing at them. But it happens that people've gotten more competitive this year, and somehow people reckon I'm slightly intelligent (don't ask me where they got that notion from). So the smart people from last year are all determined not to help people, and so those people are turning to me for help now. Ah crap. I really should be more mean. Anyway... I got my chem and physics mark back on Friday. Considering how a heap of people failed physics and the top mark was only 42/50 (yes, very low for a top mark), I was very pleased with my mark! I got 41/50 for physics, and 38.5/40 for chem. Chem was relatively easy, and a fluke... Hadn't studied for it as I was too busy with physics the day before. And I'm currently topping the chem test! The teacher hasn't finished marking the other class' tests though. I'm not too sure I'd do that well for this week's though. Bah. Haven't done any study all weekend. And I promise I will reply to the tags soon! Though not today... Going out to buy dinner now. Sorry! 7:59 PM
