I had a haircut on Friday! :( Turns out my mum didn't forget, unfortunately. And the person cut it way too short so that it's quite hard to tie it up now. Bah... It's around shoulder-length, so it means that I can't exactly tie it up nor leave it. Crap. Anyway, my parent-teacher meeting was, as I deduced from what other people said, one of the better ones! Keisha got told by CD that she's timid and hasn't said a word all year long (which is mean, albeit true. It's my fault too, in a way. I distract her too much), while TD said that she participates, so she's currently rather confused as to what participate means. Haha! And Shehjar's mum's not talking to her because of it. I suspect the teachers weren't too nice... Well, I think they were, but her grades just didn't meet her mum's expectations (which are exceptionally high). Oh, and CD did keep to his 'promise'. For the first time in the entire year, he actually asked me a question! Then he wrote the answer wrong on the board and accused me of getting it wrong. I told him it was he who got it wrong :P. I just realised how freaky it is that the teachers actually LIKE me. As in, I'd always thought they hated me to my very bones, but apparently not! Especially CD and TD, who seem to dislike me... But I know the old baldie hates me. Not that I care. My teachers are rather strange though. I've heard stuff about them being extremely mean (eg: VB telling 1 of my friends that she's crap at chem and another to drop the subject last year), but they were so nice to me... It is still rather freaky. *shudders* And I guess old baldie doesn't actually hate me that much. He actually joked with me the other day! I was telling my friend about how I was so lucky as to be able to miss interhouse marching practice and interhouse cross country last Thursday and next Thursday, and he was behind me and he went 'how do you expect to go to the olympics that way?' Bah... Freaky. And I'm hungry, and I've had nothing but jelly beans all afternoon, after breakfast. Been studying since about 1.50, but I was playing the piano for about an hour before that. My concerto's actually going much better than I expected! I've got both hands for the whole thing except the cadenza, which Gaby hasn't given me yet. It is slow, but I've actually got it. I marvel at the amount of time I've got... Thanks to dropping history. Haha. My hist teacher still hates me for dropping it, I think. Last year's heard me getting my form signed etc, and swore he wouldn't talk to me again. The last time I saw him was during my free period, at which he remarked 'enjoying your frees, Jolene?' and I replied 'Yes, thank you very much'. My hist teacher is actually my form teacher though... And she hasn't really spoken to me yet, which is strange, because she used to always talk to me. Oops. Dinner time. Blog some other time, when I've finished the gazillion tests/assignments these few weeks... Bah. And exams in 3 weeks time! Oh crap... 7:20 PM
