School's starting in about a day :(. Surprisingly, I'm kind of looking forward to it. After all, the hols haven't quite been much hols but studying, studying, piano, studying, quarrel with family, piano. I must admit that studying includes slacking too, so I guess it hasn't been that bad.

Anyway, this is what I've done over the hols!

Chem assignment, physics assignment, (overdue) homework for calculus, applicable maths and physics, revision for chem, calculus, applic maths, physics, practise my concerto.

As you have probably noticed, NOTHING for lit. Haha.

I'm not usually this hardworking too, if you were all fainting in surprise. It's just that the exams are conveniently 5 weeks away, and I'm hoping to scrape something more than a pass. It is after all my last year of school, and every assessment counts. Exams count even more, unfortunately.

But yes, I am incredibly proud of myself. And not to mention how I wormed my way out of the haircut my mother was going to drag me to. :D

Oh yes, the school administrator/God-knows-who emailed my dad regarding the time changes for parent-teacher, and I think he/she put the wrong day and date on. I should have told my dad that yes, it's on the Monday instead of the Tuesday and my mum would be gone to a non-existent parent-teacher meeting. But no, I was a nice girl and told him it was the wrong date.

Besides the fact that the person who did the emailing must have been half-asleep because term only starts on the Tuesday, it wasn't a pleasant surprise/reminder for me as it shows that teachers/school personnel can contact my parents at any time they wish to. I am starting to get worried... Might want to be nicer to the old baldie (aka lit teacher).

Well, I suppose if anyone from the school finds this blog, I would be dead before I could say 'internet policy'. Our school happens to have an internet policy that says 'no student may create a personal web page on the internet without school approval'. So I'll be screwed if they find this blog, and considering how I just said I know the internet policy, I doubt feigning ignorance would help a great deal.

Although I don't particularly want anyone from school visiting this page, not when there's so much I don't want them to know about (eg: my marks). Happens that people are, very strangely, rather interested in my grades. Their reasons really elude me. I try to be as nondescript as the classroom walls, but it doesn't really help.

And it's a pity, really, for the school to impose such a rule. Because a personal web page would, possibly, help improve the writing skills of the individual, although the cause might be a little lost on the general school cohort. People would really rather go on facebook/myspace, which I guess in some ways do allow people to hone their writing skills, albeit not to a significant extent.

But why we aren't allowed personal web pages is interesting. Perhaps they're worried that we might post vital information about the school that would make terrorists descend on it and attempt to attack it? Or maybe there's some sort of a Philosopher's Stone hidden in the depths of the school. I did think I heard a 3-headed dog growling somewhere near the sport department...

Strange, really, some of these school rules. Not that I pay much attention to them, as is evident from the fact that I'm still blogging. Lol. I've managed to make this blog reasonably safe, at least from search engines (or so I wish to think).

And anyway I doubt they'd care to google random names, unlike certain people *coughDEREKTANcough*. I really hope he doesn't google his name again... But he was an annoying idiot, poking his extraordinary long (and oily) nose everywhere. And I have no qualms in saying that now that I'm no longer in NY. Haha. And the last time, he had told me off because I was accusing him of something illegal, but this time, I'm just stating the facts. Doubt he can sue me over that.

Ah well. Shall go for my shower now as I want to watch tele later...
