You wouldn't believe it, but some assh*le turned off our water supply yesterday night. Yes, TURNED IT OFF, so when we got up in the morning, there was NO WATER. It happens that down under in Aussieland, there's a manual tap that people can us to turn off the entire water supply to your house, and it is conveniently located next to your driveway in the garden: aka, ANYONE can turn it off. Must have been why Maisy was barking so violently last night at about midnight. We'd just thought it was the neighbours back from their frequent late-night rendevous. I got the entire week off, excluding Monday and possibly tomorrow! What've I been doing with my free time? Catching up with sleep. Horribly boring, but sleep can never be enough. For me and maisy anyway. It was the mum's birthday on Wednesday! The brother and I bought an electric frypan (that can do a hundred and one nifty obscure things like staying tilted eternally for basting) for her which cost $47.50. So it was $23.75 each. He still owes me $68.35 because he borrowed $44.60 for refueling his car. I need to get my money back, or I'm basically broke! My email inbox has been sadly desolate :(. Olivia's not replying, and school's started for you guys. It's just full of facebook junk I don't even bother reading. Wonder what happened to Olivia... (hope I didn't piss her off accidentally, as I always do) I've started reading my history textbook! Considering the disadvantage I'm at for Australian history, I thought I'd make up for my lack of 'experience' by reading up... I haven't gotten past Federation (which was in 1901), so you can surely infer that I haven't gone very far. It's a nice bedtime book: so boring, it sends you to dreamland effortlessly. That being said, it's actually quite interesting, though this history textbook isn't very indepth. Quite lousy, imho... Reads more like a narrative. There's only about 11 months more before I'm done with high school! It's almost daunting... Argh. Have to stop thinking about such things and enjoy the hols while I can. And so I'm off! Need to turn in earlier as I'm probably working tomorrow... :( 9:21 PM
