Anyway, Sars, I agree that it's stupid. I'd only done it as I was extremely bored. So you can see how boredom acts as a catalyst to degenerate my brain?
And my computer just has to hang on me when I'm chatting with Sars and Karene. Seriously, I'd have strangled it long ago if it had a neck. Fortunately it doesn't, or my dad would do the same to me (for wasting his hard-earned money).
Forgive me if I do sound insane (yes, Jiamin, I will forgive you since I am insane too. Haha!), for Peirong has just told me about the TIME MAGAZINE TOP 100 NOVELS (from 1923- now?) and due to the major breakdown my computer had. My hair's visibly less now...
I want the 'Time' magazine and 'Readers' Digest'! Unfortunately, as I'd told Peirong, poor minions (aka me) can't afford expensive magazines like those. Blame it on 'National Geographic'. I'd rather spend that money on 'Time'. Hmmph.
Maybe I'll persuade my dad to allow me to use his credit card as I doubt Time would bother licking overseas stamps and bringing them to the overseas post box. As for Readers' Digest, alas, I'll have to settle for Time.

I apologize to Peirong, whom I fear was frightened off by my incessant ramblings in CAPS about books that were familiar to me, and which I liked. I am thoroughly amazed that none of Ray Bradbury's books are there, and neither are Aldous Huxley's... And Faulkner's most renowned book (to me at least) 'As I lay Dying' didn't get in, while 2 of his other books got in... Interesting.
'ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST' (Ken Kesey) IS IN THOUGH! AND SO IS '1984' (George Orwell), and 'BELOVED' (Toni Morrison. I remember Sars saying it was boring as I was reading it on the MRT)!!! I am going to print the list out, put one under my pillow and smooch it, put one in all my files and everything that I have. Kidding. I AM printing it out, but not doing it to that extreme. Schindler's List is in the Top 100 Movies! And so is Raging Bull (ROBERT DENIRO! [sp?]). The Godfather Parts 1 and 2 are in too, though Part 3 isn't, sadly. To Peirong: Yes, Star Wars is in too, so you can jump up and whoop for all you wish, as long as it doesn't cause earthquakes. To XinRong: LOTR is in too, so you too, can jump and sing all you wish. Finding Nemo is actually in, while 'Saving Private Ryan' isn't... Neither is 'The Passion of the Christ'. Hmmph.
Actually, I'd thought that 'Sophie's World' (Jostein Gaardner) and 'I am the King of the Castle' (Susan Hill) would be in the Top 100. 'Gone with the Wind' is of course in. And so is TKAM, Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm and LOTR (scream Xr, scream).
I've to go before my mom screams at me. Hmmph.
