This is to Sars, though I think it's quite late already: Happy birthday to you, You were born in the Zoo. You look like a monkey, and smell like one too. Nah... Just kidding. But you get the vibe of it, don't you? Yes, I admit I should have posted this earlier, but well... I did wish you Happy Birthday on your actual birthday, so stop looking at me reproachfully sars! Anyway, if you can, please, please get The Lovely Bones and The King of the Castle for me... Though I can only get it from you in about 3 months. *Punches fist into the air* Woohoo! 3 horrific months have crawled by, and I am counting down to December! It's half-time now. *Emits a vibrating snort*. The school here is... How do I put this nicely... Ludicrous. This is the gentlest word I can rake up from my vast vocabulary, and I am sorry for it. For History, we are supposed to watch a video on Changi Prison (YES, CHANGI. Irony: I am from Singapore) during the WW2, and it's M 15+. We are supposed to get our parents to sign a permission slip for the green light for the teacher to show us the video. Just because it's M 15, and I am only 13. To think that back in the good ol' days in THE SCHOOL, we could leisurely watch M 18 films without giving so much as a damn about what our parents may send to the MOE. And my mom doesn't care either. We watch those shows for VIEWING BY MATURE AUDIENCES on TV every night before sleeping, and I don't get any nightmares or get up screaming in the middle of the night. I don't see what's the huge fuss about viewing such movies. And what more, my mom actually helped me to borrow M 18 movies before, and she's helping me buy something similar to lottery occassionally. Right... What's with M 15 for a rule-breaker like me (and my mom)? And some stupid asshole in Science class broke my ruler. Mind you, it's no ordinary ruler. I've had it for about 10 years, and never lost it. Think about the sentimental value hidden in it... RIGHT. I am damn bloody pissed... And the worst thing is that he didn't have the courtesy to even apologize. He just stuffed it back into my pencil case, the 2 pieces, shattered forever. A lowdown cad like him will never get anywhere in this world, without elegance and just sheer manners. Yes, I blew up at him. I didn't give a damn about the people staring. He pushes my buttons, I blow. It's not exactly my fault. He provoked me, and I don't care alright. I need to cool down now. 6:52 PM
