WARNING. The following post is going to be really politically incorrect (actually, what's the definition of PC-ness? *Launches into a lengthy essay of PC-ness*), and if you, the reader, are those in the radar of the "easily-offended", please do seek the carefully stencilled, with a green background and 'EXIT' in white, and get the HELL out of here. Thank you for your kind attention.

NOTE: The author will not be held responsible for anything due to the full protection of the first amendment right, and would lose no opportunity in taking the accuser to court if the need arises.

So you have been warned, and if you cannot take the following paragraph, and would suffer a cardiac arrest after a series of "insults" of something you dearly love (ie. your school), get out, get out, get out. I am sure enough's been said here.

Now launching into the actual post. Opening my IVLE email inbox, I was delighted to note that I had received 3 new email messages, 2 from my debates coach(ex-debates coach, for that matter), and one from a teacher by the name of Mr Shone on the school's national BLOGGING competition. As inspired as I am to post something on the sacred blog of the INTELLECTUALS OF ****(for the privacy of the school, and mostly my longing to live, I shall not divulge the wonderful name of the school), I am unable to do so due to the fact that I am no longer in Singapore, and my phone is hereby unable to receive any messages from Singapore as I sadly do not have auto-roaming. Having had the heart to do something for my previous beautiful school, I'd willingly put my name down(and my life), to sign up at Moblogs(if it is spelled this way) so that I'd be able to do my part for the school. But I was told that the password would be sent to my handphone, and unfortunately the damned server did not accept overseas phone numbers.

Disappointed and dismayed, I'd thought I'd post it here on my private blog instead, under the shield of the First Amendment Right. Unfortunately, some unwanted visitors (ie. teachers) had previously decided to drop down the chimney and had given me enough "Christmas presents" to last me for a lifetime. Now that I am no longer in the school, and have read up more on the law of journalism/protection or rights of writers, I am able to rise up from the vulnerable and "bully-able" student into an "able-to-bully" human as I no longer enrol in that school *HA! See what you can do to me!*. And if you dare to copy this post and show it to the whole school, I'd sue your pants(and maybe underpants) off for plagarism as 1: I never did mention any details of the school, except that it's in Singapore, and there are more schools in Singapore than the visible stars in the night sky in Singapore(it's too bright for stars to shine[metaphorically too]). It's your fault if you decide to scrutinize my work and conclude what school I was from, and as much as I know that I have a fan club out there(and most people are clamouring for me to get to the point at this point in time), I have to make this point crystal clear so that unwanted visitors would adhere to the rules of this blog. DO YOU GET IT?! Right.

With this national blogging competition, the school has once again broken it's own "rules". Why? Maybe some of you have forgotten, but some people(you-know-who) got into trouble for writing some nasty stuff about teachers(or teacher, for that matter). So I am being nasty for backstabbing teachers. But hey, who did that first? Who went to our teachers and told them what nasty and backstabbing people we were? It's rather ironic when you look at the big picture, isn't it?

First, it was the Mulan bands, which rather reminded me of breast cancer bands(no offence to anyone, but that was what I initially thought they were giving out before they clarified the matter with people as perverse as I am). Of course, I should applaud the theatre club for their endeavour in advertising for their performance. But what I did not like was the idea of the school bending it's own rules to make ways for this! And what about this blogging competition now? I'd always thought that the school was against blogging from all the remarks/complaints that they'd made about PC-ness(in case you haven't realized, this means 'politically-correct-ness'). So this means that we are allowed to do anything if it's for the good name of the school? I don't think this makes sense... What more, I'd heard some rumour that they were going to have a PANEL OF JUDGES to see if our class t-shirts pass some test of PC-ness again. Digression's over, let me get back to my point on blogging.

In this competition, I am sure we are all expected to give great comments and compliment the school for being so liberal. You could say that I am being pessimistic and cynical, but deep down in YOUR very hearts, you know that what I am saying is true, and this is just another means of attracting media attention/competition for fame. Perhaps I am wrong to say this, as some of you would say, as I'd been nurtured and groomed by the unconditional(yeah right...) love and care of the teachers in the past one and a half years in that school, but I unfortunately think that sometimes, we shouldn't be so timid and speak up. Many of you would say that I would of course speak like this, as I am no longer in the school, and it wouldn't affect me at all. I must admit that it is true, and I am being rather impudent and arrogant and God-knows-what in speaking this way.

To summarize my points. I do not support the blogging competition as it is only a means of vying for fame, and has no other purpose than that. What more, I can't stand the fact that rules are being bent just for this purpose. I mean, no one is perfectly honest, and there is a gray area between honesty and dishonesty, and of course, the school rules lie in between(the area shall be called wormville, since it's the area for WORMING your way out of trouble). In wormville, anything can happen, and we must assume nothing, and expect everything. WOW.

Anyway, this post is long enough, and my fingers are aching from all the complaining. I apologize if anyone is offended, but please, read the warnings with caution the next time you decide to visit my blog. And please be reminded that I shall not be held responsible for the above post. Thanks you for your kind attention, and reading of my rantings.
