For those who haven't read my previous post, please go read it, and tell me if it's offensive. But honestly, it's not my fault if you look at it from YOUR point of view. It doesn't seem offensive to me from MY point of view. Well, as I'd already said, s**(SABATTICALS. Merely this and nothing more!) had many actions incorporated into it today. Creative writing I mean. Not P4T, definitely. Nevertheless, I thought it was rather boring, and not challenging. For some reason, Mr Tan kept picking on me. Maybe it's something about my face. Well, for the evaluation form, I gave quite a number of 'disagrees'. So did qiuting. I think the both of us were the only honest ones... P4T was fun, though I felt that there should have been more discussion than watching. Well, sometimes constructive evidence isn't needed yeah? During the break, Zeena and I went down to Popular to get some snacks. We saw Ms Lye and Karene while eating outside the English staffroom, and invited them to join us. We were discussing about the Science and Religion issue, and I was asking if Ms Lye had a religion. She doesn't, (un)fortunately. So we were eating, and we were asking Ms Lye all sorts of weird questions. She must have thought we were insane. Mrs Tay came out at about 1, and we were asking her to join us. We also told her that we were incorporating philosophy and what we learnt into our everyday lives. Haha... After the mass lecture, we went to ask Mrs Wesvik and Mrs Tay about the soul, and I asked them if they believed that perceptions make reality. They said that it was hard to answer, and I don't blame them. Anyway, they recommended Sophie's World and Tuesdays with Morrie to us, both of which I have already read. So I was asking them what they thought the soul was, and Mrs Tay was talking about her own experience, about how she felt things in philosophy she never felt before. So I guess she is saying that the soul is moulded by experiences. Mrs Wesvik said something similar, about how we have to experience it ourselves, and how the experiences would shape our soul. Interesting, isn't it? Anyway, that's all. 7:25 PM
