pam, thanks for flaming my blog. it has been collecting cobwebs for a really long time. jiamin, are you saying that we did a good job or pam did a good job? Anyway, this week's been a really long and tiring one for me. i reached home at abt 10.30PM and nearly fainted in the washroom from sheer fatique. My legs were cramping up, and i was squashed in the MRT on the way home, and nearly fell on a couple of people who kept staring cautiously at me. We had gone to Yusof Ishak(sp?) Secondary School to watch our seniors debate in the preliminary(sp?) round of the Julia Gabriels. We won RGS hands down. Ms Karen Rowe was there. I was shocked when I saw her, but well... She sat next to me, and kept staring at the notes I took. Felt rather claustrophobic, like how I feel when any teacher especially Mrs Ng does it. Ms Rowe told me that she was training to be an adjudicator, and she had resigned as a teacher in our school. I was appalled, as I thought she was still teaching... Looks like I am really outdated in terms of the school's matters. After school It was almost as exciting as Thursday's, which was the fateful day we locked Timmy out of the classroom. I just went to Bernice's blog, and she has just unleashed an amazing fact that I am speaking in debate language. I never knew that, except that I keep going "define...". Maybe that's what people DEFINE debate language to be. But from my debates notes of which I read yesterday, it says that definition debates aren't the best debates around. We had to wait till 6 in the evening for the bus to leave the school, so Xinrong and I decided to do our work. She had brought her art materials, and I had brought my debates notes, thus we sat outside the English staffroom as there were fans there, unlike the benches outside the Lecture Theatre, which are poorly ventilated and are hot and humid. Her artwork was hilarious, and Jia Sin from 2/8 clearly agrees with me. Mrs Ng came by, as she had just finished watching Heros with 2/8, just before Jia Sin came. The former thought that Xinrong was doing the painting for recreational purposes, and I was laughing away. Mrs Ng also offered us some fruit, of which Xinrong and I politely declined. Xinrong told me afterwards that Mrs Ng may have wanted to give us poisoned apples, and I was like "The wicked witch of the West...". Then we recounted the great Project Work lessons we had to Jia Sin, taking turns to roleplay. Especially what Mrs Ng said about our mentor being lost. I was doing a bridge on the bench when Mr Tang came out of the staffroom, and I was like opps... He went "Why did you say opps? You can do anything you want!" So I went back into that position. Anyway, I shall go rest after the traumatic medical checkup this morning. It was really disgusting, and I shan't write it here as you would all lose your appetites if you read it. So I shall go off now. See you around! 4:56 PM
